Being more accustomed to the city than the forest, he heads towards the scream. Scanning the area as he walks. Feeling as though the wolf was a diversion, he is walking slower than perhaps was warranted.
Gorm Diabhal pauses for a beat, doing his best to take in the site of the dead wolf in front of him and to scan as much of the woods as he can. How did this thing get by him, he wonders... But unless he sees anything besides the already dead beast, he turns and heads towards the new commotion.

As the group turns in surprise, they step out of the woods and see the village. The sun is gone by this point, and the area is lit only by a few torches hanging off of the walls of the half-finished buildings. a number of the builders are about, some cautiously stepping back to the ship, others creeping about, peaking out from behind buildings, looking for something. One of them spots you all, and waves both of his arms high in the air. "HELP!" he shouts. "SOMETHING'S HERE!"
"Here, there, everywhere and nowhere," Gorm mutters to himself, seemingly running in circles. He pauses and lights a torch, holding it high to try to extend the reach of its light. "Anyone actually have eyes on anything?" he shouts out.

Kierro casts another light spell as he hears the man's words, allowing everyone to see in the immediate area. Taking a moment to consider the options, he looks toward the rest of the approaching party, casting guidance on the first person to start looking for tracks or other signs of an attacker before doing so himself.
Eli will tey to climb onto a roof of a building to get a good vantage point, if there is one. If not, he will try to climb onto an unfinished building.

The group searches all around the unfinished village, as the remaining builders gather courage and help. At this point, a group of yawning sailors creep up over the bow of the ship
Gorm eventually walks back to the group when it seems like there is no more immediate danger or signs of... anything. "Has anyone searched for tracks? Drag marks? Sign of a struggle?"

The sailors look slightly alarmed, but nod, and head back into the ship, lighting some torches. Most of the builders also head onto the ship, shaking nervously. Only two have the courage to stay and continue looking. An elderly man, with a long gray beard, and a young woman dressed in rags.
"Where's Antonio? Maybe he can get a headcount, make sure we're actually missing a person... and it's only one?" Gorm shouts out to nobody in particular as he does his best to search for signs of what may have happened, despite having no skills in the area.
