"I believe it is safe to say we will never agree on a single guild to join." Valen finally speaks up, in a raspy voice. Most people expect the scars on his neck to have caused his voice to sound like this, and that would be a correct guess, but only a guess, since he has never spoken of it to anyone. "I am for the legion, and do not believe their tenants will go against those of anyone else. I protect those who cannot defend themselves, which I do not believe any of you would disapprove of..." He looks over the group. "I suggest we form a group, with each of us joining a guild that we can find common cause with each other with."
Arthur agrees with the first to speak up. Unsure of himself, he raises a hand, "I would say we should try to find two or three different enough for everyone to find work. Then we should try to form some kind of alliance. As an example, the Legion surely funds Alchemy. Maybe not as much as the Simic or Golgari, but I could find work there. In a similar fashion the Trostani surely welcome druids..."
He holds his chin, rethinking his statement. "What I meant was, I don't have a preference, but we should nail down 2 or 3 that we can all fit in to be more effective."
Ergos listens to the rest of his group's ideas, not providing any of his own while understanding the rest of their thoughts. Only then, when Kroneker speaks to Ergos, does he try to reply back. "I was thinking I would join the Izzet, but now that the others are trying to agree on working together—" Ergos shifts a moment in place, "I think the Izzet are a good league, I mean, guild for me to join, but I don't know about the rest of your personal tastes. I don't want all of us to be separated at the least." Ergos tells this to Kroneker, showing an expression of conflicting ideas.
"Kroneker doesn't really care. Kroneker wants money, but many ways to make money. Kroneker can steal. Kroneker can save the weak. Then steal from the weak if they don't pay!"
Saying that, Kroneker involuntarily snarls with a momentary vicious expression, but recovers his grin quickly.
"Kroneker can enforce the law. Kroneker can kill enemies, then loot enemies. Then loot friends of enemies, because f**k them!"
The goblin tilts his head sideways, his eyes suddenly become clear and focused, and says in a low, menacing voice:
"Kroneker will find his way under any master. What about you?"
"That is one way to go about it." Ergos shifts in place slightly at Kroneker's words, expecting a different response despite being with them for awhile. Nonetheless, Ergos looks at the rest of the group and sighs, only now understanding the possibility of them not being able to continue as a group as they have before.
Ah, well, thank you for the short introduction to the guilds at least, and hopefully your party continues to enjoy the campaign you DM! Farewells to you, and good luck.
Kroneker paces back and forth, scratching his head in deep thought. This continues for a good while, until he grins and turns to Ergos.
"What you think, monkey? ((OOC that's what he calls monks)) Fire Demon looks fun, but Big Eye is strong. Kroneker say we choose one."

"Either way, we can always work together on the side." Shi chimes in.

Kroneker just shrugs and says to all of them.

Ok, that’s the end of Phase II. Now in Phase 3 you are sending me a PM of your guild choice
Hi!
I am at the point where I have my actual party all caught up to this point! So I’m going to close this thread for now. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for your participation! I may reopen this to test new stuff - you all will be the first to know. Thanks again!
