as the waitress, a rather curvaceous and lively middle aged human woman dressed somewhat revealing, brings food and drink to the table, she over hears the group discussing their future plans and she leans down to the ear of T'Yeeno, and half whispers, but loud enough for a few others to hear as well, if they are paying attention
"for a wee bit of coin, I may be able to inform you on a few job offers that the owner has gotten wind of and has yet to post on the big board of hunters" she motions with her head to the wall by the bar, that appears to have a lot of papers on it.
she turns back to the group, smiling having finished her delivery, and apparently pausing for something.
"You may have a good coin." T'yeeno responds to the human waitress in a human voice, handing them over a singular gold piece whilst looking intently at the bulletin board of papers on the wall the waitress pointed out. T'yeeno nods back to the waitress with a 3/4's eaten piece of grilled pork, "mmhm, the job offers?" he says in-between bites.
"Subtle..." Melady says under her breath, but nods to the waitress. "I'm sure the boys would love to know these other jobs." Melady tosses a gold coin over. "For that matter so would I..."
Trixy smiles and as Obelisk pats her head he realizes her hair is springy and soft and coils up tight even when pulled it returns back. Trixy seems used to people touching her hair.
Zeril sits wit the others, constantly turning his head to look at the the people talking around the inn. When the group starts to discuss options he shakes his head. "I do not **Chirp** like caves. I think I would rather look at the orcs if no one else minds." Zeril's feathers fluff up when he mentions the word caves, clearly not happy with the word.
The waitress pockets both gold coins into her rather large cleavage, hiding them among the folds of cloth.
She looks back at the 2 who gave money, and smiles "Thank you kindly lads"
She slips 3 pieces of parchment from her pouch at her hip and slides them onto the table face down. "They havent been posted yet, so no one else knows" and she winks.
the papers contain he following:
1. In search of brave adventurers to help recover family heirloom from ruins near the kings wall. Report to Oneus at the Bitter Blade Room 12.
2. Recruiting sample seekers to gather things from the scar, i have a list, you have the skills. Ask for Nyron at the Bitter Blade, the barkeep knows where I am.
3. Bounty Hunters needed, local marauding tribe extermination needed. Ask for Constable Uther at the town square.
(I never got an answer on my last post if my character was okay to join or not - so if not just let me know and I'll bugger off)
Hatch arrived at the Bitter Blade a bit behind the group, the lone tiefling looking around the place eager to find news of where he could start testing his mettle against some evil or another.
Zeril looks over all three notes from the waitress. After a second of contemplation, and a ruffle of his feathers, the Aarakocra nods his head. "I don't see why we can't ask about them all?" He looks around at the other new comers. "Time flows like a gentle **Whistle** breeze, passing quickly and leaving only memories. We should make the most of it."
The waitress gives Hatch a nod as he sits down, setting a pint in front of him. "Welcome to the end of the world" she winks.
"Thank you," he said to the waitress, taking a hearty glug from the pint before introducing himself to the group. Should they share the information on the available jobs Hatch would cast his vote for finding the family heirloom, if only because he found such jobs interesting. There's always the questions to be asked about what sort of heirloom is it and how one could possibly lose it.
"Acquiring things is one of my specialties. I like the first two the most."
She notices how Hatch seems to be outcast and with that, "You look like you need a hug." Before he can say anything the small halfling hops across the table and hugs him. "There! You aren't alone anymore." And smiles at him.

Hatch was surprised by the sudden hug, but he returned it nevertheless. He knew better than to argue with halflings on such matters (outside of checking his pockets for anything missing once their attention was elsewhere).
"Acquiring things is one of the better jobs out there. It's easy to know if you've helped someone, once you've obtained the object you can get out of there in a hurry, and no one outside of possibly you and your party should die if you fail - usually," he said, agreeing with the halfling Trixy.
i need a persuasion roll from each person wishing to talk during the meetings, notate which is which " #1 - roll, etc" and then i will consolidate all info so you can decide what you wish to do

OOC: What sided-die is used, and how do I figure out class and race modifiers for it?
Obelisk grumbles, slightly confused by everyone's split opinions on the matter.
"I thought we go into the scar. Why are you all here?"
He specifically looks at Trixy, then around to the rest of the group. The Obelisk is especially confused by Zeril's apparent fear of caves. He had always find caves quite nice, and he had find birds perched at the entrance of them on several occasions. He did like birds... Maybe this bird would like him too? He gives a somewhat forced, awkward smile to Zeril, sitting across from him.
"Big Birdy, why are you afraid of the caves? Where do you tend to nest?"

Persuasion roll 1
"Well the Scar's big, with many parts. The question isn't about going into it so much as where and which part to go into, and what to do when we get there," the red skinned tiefling said. "Personally my only goal is to lessen some of the evil there - and if I can do some other good as well, even better." Hatch shrugged, he was a simple paladin after all, so there wasn't much complexity behind his motivations or wishes.
"I think all of these seem fine." Melady speaks up. "Personally I am not much on the extermination of tribes, so I'd say recovering treasure, or getting samples seems like our best bets for starters. We could always see if the tribe-extermination is still available after getting those other two jobs completed." She nods to the stone-looking man. "There is always those caves as well..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trixy goes and whispers to Obelisk, "Some birds don't trust caves because other things live in them and come out and eat their eggs and young when they are out hunting."
To everyone, "I think this party is pretty strong and we can do a couple of things at the same time. Let's talk to them, we can see if anything is on the way to the next and maybe chain a couple of things together."
"I will go talk to some of the story tellers afterwards and find out if there are any legends about the ruins. I do like having a holy person with us, some of these places are crawling with the evils from the past. Creepy crawlies." She says this while wiggling her fingers in crawling motion with her hands near her face. She gives off a childlike enthusiasm, but it is hard to determine her real age.

Zoran’s attention is divided between the piece of meat he’s eating and the conversation of the people around him.
"Zoran go cave."
