"The problem with caves **Chirp** is that there is no sky." Zeril states matter of factly, with a small shudder ruffling his feathers once again when he says caves. "If we can find out where these tasks take place, we can make a plan **Tweet** that will take care of everything."
i need a persuasion roll from each person wishing to talk during the meetings, notate which is which " #1 - roll, etc" and then i will consolidate all info so you can decide what you wish to do
OOC: What sided-die is used, and how do I figure out class and race modifiers for it?
you should have all that on your character sheet, which also should be in the campaign. i see it there, you have a +5, go to the main post and make sure you read up on rolls and posting and such.
T'yeeno does not seem to have any gripes with the selection this waitress had provided, but he goes back to his original idea, whispering to Melady as the discussion discomforts him, "I think the raiding orcs are a good choice still, and sorry for not discussing this with everyone but you, you seem to be the most-welcoming out of everyone in this table. If the jobs here are not posted yet, we should work on the posted-ones fast, before these other jobs are posted." T'yeeno whispers in a calm, soothing elven man's voice. He sits down again, poking the dragon-toothed spear on the table in an anxious beat of his heart.
Melady turns to T-yeeno. "If everyone agrees on the orcs, then I have no problem with that one either." She says with a nod. "As for the posted ones, there is no guarantee that any of them are open, or that others are not already working those." She nods to the ones the waitress left. "These ones we can be fairly certain have no one that would be competing with us to accomplish them." She shrugs though. "Why don't we go and have a look to see what is posted as well..." melady gets up and saunters over to the posting board to read through the ones posted there.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
T'yeeno
"R-right. For all of us h-here, could we perhaps vote? I nominate that w-we go for the orc raiders." T'yeeno indirectly replies to Melady with this, and speaking with quite a convincingly persuasive elven voice despite his anxious tones.
T'yeeno stands up from his seat, agreeing with Melady's comment. He walks along with her towards the wall with the copious amounts of paper postings, perhaps looking keenly at each one to double-check.
As T'yeeno and Melady take a good eye over the poster board, he speaks in a dragonborn voice without looking to Melady, yet directing it to her, "Where did you come from before you came to Restwell Keep, Melady, was it? I do not know geography, but I came from a mountainous and forested region. There were some signs of undead too..." T'yeeno's mind wanders for a moment, letting Melady reply whilst his thoughts are off-key.
there are lots of posted papers, none with dates, or even days of the week, papers look mostly old, the newest 3 are
1 - missing person - Gordi, believed missing to the south in the fens - reward if found and returned to Benwick.
2 - Treasure Hunters needed - regarding dwarven expedition that went missing.
3 - missing fishing boat and plagued fish research assistance needed - inquire at the docks at the ferry service
researching the 3 notes given by the waitress reveals the following:
1 - Oneus - i believe i have found the lost abode of a distant relative, though it resides beyond the wall, i will need someone to go there, it was rumored to have been buried in mud, until recently, only discovered. if it is our family home, i will need a Walking Staff from my grandfather, retrieved, along with a book about our family history. if you are able to do this, i will give each of you 50gp, up to 500 max.
2 - Nyron - I need some samples taken from creatures known as bullywugs, and their mud, beyond the wall - i know of 4 types of bullywugs, i need a sample of each, 30gp for each sample. Croaker, Mucker, Twitcher, and Lord. one sample from the stomach of each along with the mud it is covered in. each double sample is what i will pay for. he has 4 potion vials in a box if you accept.
3 - Constable - Reward of 5gp each for reptilian creatures that attacked a caravan, he gives s description but it unsure if they are lizardmen or bullywugs. he has a rough description of where based on the survivors account.
Melady shrugs and returns to the table, filling the group in on the other three items on the board. "I like the treasure hunter one, but would steer clear of anything that has plague in its name, so out on the fishing listing." She says to the group. "The lost person is an option, but I would only take that one if we were going that direction for something else."
T'yeeno shuffles back to the table along with Melady, now awkwardly placed directly beside her. After she speaks her mind, T'yeeno replies, "I still want to go with the orcs. Maybe we can pick up side-jobs that go west, northwest, or north? We can get better coverage that way, and know more about the land itself in that direction. I-I can't be certain it will work, but the orc raiders sound like they have a-a lot of treasure to sell and k-keep for u-us." T'yeeno speaks first in the same dragonborn tone, but slips at the last sentence, causing his voice to turn into that of a nervous human.
He has his hands on the table, but occasionally taps on it to form a rhythm, albeit not consistent. His gaze goes from either Melady to the group, although less on the latter.
"That missing person case has my attention, as does that family heirloom case. Could kill orcs along the way if we must, but assuming others don't kill them it's not likely they'll get up and disappear," the tiefling says.
"Well, the orcs seem to the north west, then south from there is the scar and next to the wall is where the family heirloom looks to be. The caves are east and the missing person South-Eastern from here. One nice big circle around the Keep. So, where to first?" Trixy asks in a serious tone, but smiling like an imp.

"The missing person case is probably the most time sensitive and pressing," Hatch said, liking the circular path doing all the jobs option.
"Birdy doesn't want to go to the caves. We don't go to caves, then. Big circle sounds tiring for those with little legs" he says, looking at Trixy. "One job first, then next. Fine with me."
It sounds like most people are interested in doing one of the expeditions that gain us more starting gold (treasure hunters, family heirlooms, orc traders).

Are these locations accurate for where each quest is in relation to us? Where did the dwarven expedition go missing?
"Sounds like a plan. Let's start at the south with the missing Gordi and work our way northward," Hatch said, eyeing the lists. "I'd also like to find the missing dwarves as well. Those two are the biggies for me, and most pressing. Don't want to leave anyone out to die if it can be helped."
Zeril bobs his head in acceptance of the plan. "I will scout from the sky **Whistle**. When shall we start?" When he speaks the word sky, his gold eyes light up and those listening can almost hear the sound of a soft breeze blowing past.
Trixy, "To the trees!" Jumping up and down on her chair. "I am ready to go whenever you guys are. Does anyone need anything for the trip? Like supplies or anything?"
Persuasion 14
(According to my character sheet I've got a +3 on charisma, so I rolled a 1d20+3, did I do this right?)

*I am basing it on the maps on the first page and going through each description. The DM may have something else in mind on the whereabouts though.

you are correct on the where in relation to you. it would make a decent circle.
the scar and the wall is to the west.
"Then I don't see any reason not to start in one location and make a circle of it." Melady says with a nod. "Let's do it."
