Aluzira watches as Rowan leads everyone outside to head to her apartment. She starts following them, looking around to see if she can see where Torrent and the Teifling went.
"Your plan sounds good," Horace says to Torrent. "My resources are scarce at the moment, but let me know if there's any way I might be of assistance to your endeavor. I don't have any connections at Lord Guernot's court, but perhaps I could put in a good word with the ward's council-member, Alderman Terry, Master of the Carpenters' Guild. Many of my regulars are guildsmen." You can see that while the tavern isn't decorated with any representational artwork, there are several bookshelves displaying rare books of lore about the natural world.
Looking up at Nazcan quizzically, Horace remarks, "It seems there are aspects of your people's life-cycle of which I was unaware. Good luck in following your aspirations!"
"And good luck to you all!" Horace says, quickly scooping up the silver pieces from the bar as Rowan, Fluin, Tarek, Anakis, Nazcan, and Aluzira begin exiting the tavern.
Outside, lightning flashes across the sky as rain continues to pour down, filling the cobblestone street with water a few inches deep.
Anakis folds her arms in close. Anyone looking at her would think it was because she was cold from the rain, however in reality she attempts to keep her mouse dry and safe from the elements.
She hops from cobblestone to cobblestone wherever she can see one sitting just above the water's surface, but skipping through the water if nothing presents itself to her as a landing spot. While this slows her down a little, she keeps watch on the group and makes sure not to lose them as she tails along behind.
Torrent pats Horace on the shoulder. "I appreciate it. Unless you have any recent word about the area to the southwest, I may have to take you up on that help later. It seems that my new compatriots have started to leave. If you can pull some connections that would help get the rest of these folk paid and supplied, that'd be tremendously helpful. I may ask to borrow or take a peek at some of those books whenever I come back or the weather is better. I wouldn't want to see them damaged." Torrent gives Horace another silver as a tip. The man is motivated by money and can be greedy to a fault, but he's a good man deep down. Really deep down.
Torrent steps outside and casts Shape Water to make an improvised umbrella by pushing any rain directly over his head around him as he moves. He sees the group ahead of him, with Aluzira lagging a bit behind. He moves to catch up to her. "Hey, Aluzira. It's been a long time since we've actually talked. How have you been?"

Tarek doesn't realize that Nazcan is following him until he arrives at the temple. "Oh, hello there," he turns and smiles. "Didn't expect you to come all the way here." He instructs Nazcan to wait outside while he goes in and packs. "Well yes, you can come into the temple, as long as they don't see your... symbol there. Like Horace said, our city doesn't take 'idols' fondly. I, however, am quite interested in how your religion works." He packs what few possessions he has and is back outside the temple in no more than three minutes, giving Nazcan (hopefully) plenty of time to look around and admire the temple.
Torrent responds to Aluzira, moving to make sure she can stay dry as well. "I'm doing well. I take care of my littles, and try to keep them from harm. Until recently, that had gone well. Now, it's been more difficult. Otherwise, the homestead is flourishing! I'm hoping that our little band here will be able to slow... whatever is going on out there. Anyway. You've gotten quite good at playing! I'm glad to have more of an excuse to hear you play now."

"Oh, Thanks!" says Aluzira as she notices shes not getting rained on. "That's good! I'm sure we can figure it out whatever it is. these people seem very capable. I haven't improved that much.." She says fiddling with her pan flute. "but thank you!" she adds with a smile. She looks around again. "Have you seen the little Teifling?"
Tarek and Nazcan, traveling to the city's temple precinct, takes you through the ward of outcasts, Lan Valley, a low-lying shanty town which seems on the brink of sinking back into the bog. Climbing from there, onto one of the heights on which Ekuepool was originally built, brings you to Cis Row, where are the temples of many faiths. Largest among them is your destination, the Pantheon of Souls, a cavernous, round building containing shrines dedicated to almost every god imaginable.
Inside the temple, while Tarek goes to collect his belongings, dim torchlight reveals an ornate bas-relief carved into the stone of the encircling wall. Your attention is drawn to a particular panel, Nazcan, in which a draconic female figure and her male consort are depicted as creating the world from the primordial waters. Another panel shows the same goddess fashioning the races of dragons to take revenge on other gods who have overthrown her husband.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group's path takes them through Lower West Mek, the city's red light district. Seedy houses of ill repute and drinking dens line the streets which are currently kept empty by the rain and the occasional stroke of lightning in remote parts of the city.
Soaked to the bone (except for Torrent and Aluzira who have retained their usual level of moistness), the six of you descend into Yet Valley, which is tucked up next to the outer wall adjacent to the city's main gate, and arrive at Rowan's room in the quarters of Lord Guernot's garrison.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Having not been indoors much, Anakis tries not to draw attention to herself (Stealth : 8). However, as she walks through the garrison of the lord, she attempts to see if there is anything that might be of value or useful to her (Perception : 9).
If she sees nothing, Anakis will stick close to the group so as not to stand out or get lost. Once in Rowan's room, she will wring out her clothes as best she can and stay in a corner, watching the group with wonder and curiosity.
Aluzria crosses her arms as they pass through Lower West Mek, even though the streets are empty places like this are known for being dangerous. When they reach Rowans house she steps inside. It's not a big place but it seems cozy, at least to her. "I can use a spell I know to dry everyone off if you like, one at a time though." says Aluzira.
Tarek finds Nazcan praying in front of the bas-relief sculpture. Instead of disturbing him, Tarek decides to offer up a silent prayer to Pelor to aid him on his journey.
Aluzira uses [spell]Shape Water[\spell] to dry everyone off one at a time, starting with Rowan and ending with Anakis. You watch as she forms and orb out of the water and sends it outside where it’s released onto the ground with a splash, one after another until everyone is dry.
"Thank you all for volunteering to help. I know this isn't the most glorious task, but I swear it is an important one. This is a nice place you've got here."

Rowan seems thankful for Aluzira's help in keeping her place clean, Thnk you, but you don't have to worry too much, I can always clean up later. She turns back over to Torrent, Thank you, I've been here for several years now, I like to think I've made it quite homey. Scanning around the room, it is plain to see that the entire apartment is very spartan in regards to furnishing EXCEPT that Rowan appears to have an extensive collection of paintings, a majority of which are landscapes of various terrain.
