Zeltheris moves forward to take a bow, "I can only hope that tale spreads throughout the land, the exploits of these heroes deserve to be known throughout the land. And if my name happens to be attached to that tale, I have no objection."
Enwynn, her hands already smarting from her previous enthusiasm in applause, simply smiles as Zeltheris accepts his prize. If her smile is a taut and thin-lipped one, it is not due to any flaw in his recent performance on stage, but a nagging doubt of her own as she casually moves closer to Garet. She quietly asks him a question that resurfaced in her mind after the competition ended...
"Garet, I am embarrassed to ask this, but do you still have the lock of hair I gave you?"
Her ears twitch cat-like at Brocc's distracted tone, and at Herman's chiding, but her concerned gaze remains fixed on Garet's face, awaiting an answer.
Banzo moves up past the gathering throng around Zeltheris and pats him on the back.
"How does it feel to be the 'Most famous bard in all the land?'"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Brocc glances to Herman and shrugs. "Never been much for watching entertainers." He says with a shrug. "Figured best to be giving my support though." He stops clapping and leans his hsoulder against a wall as the others move in to give their congradulations.
Banzo moves up past the gathering throng around Zeltheris and pats him on the back.
"How does it feel to be the 'Most famous bard in all the land?'"
Zeltheris laughs easily and assumes an expression of modesty, “Can’t be that famous after a single performance, it takes time for the tale to spread. Besides, by the time I’m done, I will only be famous as the person who spread your tales. You all will be the most famous heroes in all the lands, I will make sure of it.”
The other performers also come forward and congratulated Zeltheris, a number of them rather dazzled to find the other Heroes of Chalice by his side.
His new drum in his possession Zeltheris was paraded to the front of the hall and the crowd hailed him again before slowly dispersing as the food and drink carts absorbed the influx of business.
Festivities would go on well into the night.....
( So.....that officially brings everyones immediate business in Chalice to an end. Whats next?)
Garet shifted uncomfortably he had hoped this moment would not come he looked at Enwynn.
"I'm afraid I no longer have it, but I can confirm I did uphold my vow, as nobody else does, as I saw it destroyed infront of my very eyes."
Garet fixed Enwynn with a pleading stare. "I can also assure you that I was used for a noble cause, it was sacrificed to remove an evil spirit that inhabited the sword I carried, a spirit that was gaining greater influence over me." Garet sighed deeply.
"However recently I have been more troubled, as the person who conducted this service was the same person who took part of our Tortle friends shell." Garet did not give voice to the final part of his fears that such a powerful magic user could have deliberately made it appear that Enwynn's hair was destroyed so that they were obtaining elements of the hero's of Chalice for what end Garet did not know.

Enwynn's taut-lipped expression turns from concern to relief, then curiosity and concern again as she listens to Garet's explanation.
She answers softly "I am glad you are no longer burdened by a heavy-handed spirit. If I have aided you in that quest then I am happy to have done so. I am also grateful that you have not treated the token I gave you with disrespect, even if its value to you was not one of comradely affection."
Her tone becomes harder as she offers "I have not met the person to whom you owe your release from the sword's burden, nor do I have a full understanding of their particular set of skills might require for their work, so I can only guess at what their intentions might be in gathering such odd components. I know them only by their reputation. Perhaps it is time I corrected that lack..."
She leaves the end of the sentence hanging as she thinks on the matter, then adds "I can so no sign of harm done to them but for a small mark to the surface of the shell that will grow back, and my hairstyle will recover its symmetry in time. However, if you will come with me to the tower on the morrow, then perhaps we will both know more?"
A few moments later a warning "CAW!" from Corwyn on her shoulder alerts Enwynn to the fact that a private conversation is in danger of being overheard by the throng of well-wishers rapidly approaching the heroes of Chalice.
Towards the end of the evening, Zeltheris would seek out the others, "So, shall we find another demon to slay, kingdom to find, or do you have something even better in mind?"
Brocc moves over to join the others as discussions start up on what to do next. "We need to see how that dwarf king responds to the letter, but I don't see why we can't be doing something while we wait." He shrugs. "Seeing about those gangs of goblin bandits might be an option. We can speak with the goblin we brought back here and see what more information we can get from them. While in the hills there is that Razaak’s the Necromancer who is suppose to have a lair in the southeast of the Moonstone Hills. If we want to travel a bit further we could also check into those rumors about Zagor the Warlock, to the northeast of the Moonstones." Nodding at the mention of the tattoos, Brocc adds, "I too would like to know more about the symbols placed upon us all, though, at least up till now, the things do not appear to have done any harm."
Garet sighs "Lady Enwynn I did not know at the time I asked for the token what it was to be used for I only had an unshakeable urge that I needed it, I meant no disrespect."
Garet continued, "As for Madame Giror, I also know not about her motives, but as mitigation, it seems in someway to be aligned to good. I believe she was the one who recruited the original heroes of Chalice to deal with the 1st threat, she has provided many useful magical items, to our cause, even if her methods may be questionable."
Garet drew breath, "Thought if you insist on getting some answers, I will accompany you helping where I can. I feel that is the least I can do."
Turning to the rest of the group "I agree with Broccs summary, and for me the goblins would be my first port of call, after a visit to Madame Giror if thats what you decide Lady Enwynn whilst we wait on King Gillibrans response."
Banzo raises a mug of ale to the toasts that are made, drinking each time.
"Tomorrow, after checking with Girior we can try and find out more and deal with those goblin bandits, hopefully. But I would like to deal with the necromancer before the warlock, simply because we might find useful stuff to trade with the necromancer here in Chalice."

"Aye you're all right, but for now least we forget this is Zeltheris' moment, To the bard of bards, " Garet raises his glass in salute.

Herman cuts it shortly
"I wonder how you can be so aloof about some strange things happening on your skin, on your shell, on your...wires?!
But, still, so be it. Let's enjoy the rest of the evening and tomorrow (veery late jn the morning), we get ready.
But for now , a great toast to master of the bards!!!"
He says, downing his drink and addresses the empty bottle at Zeltheris with a broad smile
"Yes, tonight let's celebrate our bard's victory."
Banzo raises a mug of ale to the toasts that are made, drinking each time.
