The six of them managed to get onto the ropes and climb as the horde closed in below, another spell far below turned a few of the dead to ice but the dungeon was drifting further towards the village now and the undead were pressing against the stone walls as it slid past.
As they climbed they saw yet more dead tumble past them towards the ground, and yet more earth and stone crash past...
You climb through the hole on the underside of the floating dungeon to find yourself standing at what appears to be the original entrance to the dungeon, a large chamber with a vaulted roof and thick, head sized bricks of dark brown and black holding back the soft earth, covered in mould and slime. To your right is a wide spiral staircase leading up to nowhere as the steps are blocked by collapsed rubble, and ahead of you is a doorless entrance to a wide corridor that leads off into the darkness. Around you the wind caused by the flying monstrosity whirls and moans, and ahead you can see very little other than the black, unwelcoming shadows of the dungeon.
"I think you're right. I'll cover you. Anything comes at you they will get an arrow in the eye." Tom says to Brocc as he admires the fact that Brocc stepped up and leads the way. The Gnomes that Tom has encountered throughout his relatively short elf-life had nowhere near the confidence that Brocc seems to have.
Nor did they have his muscles for that matter.
So, Tom would follow Brocc (and whoever else might be leading) a good 15-20 feet away, as wide as he can off to the side in this wide corridor heading into the darkness which isn't dark for Tom of course as he can see quite well in the dark. He has his longbow drawn and Ready to fire at anything that looks hostile.
Rufus will warily follow after Brocc & Tom. He'll stick towards the center of the party to best be ready to respond to any threats around the party with his sorcerous powers.
The air feels tainted by the smells of damp, decaying plants and dead flesh, like rotting fish or cabbage. The only real light is coming from the hole in the floor that you have just climbed through, and the tunnel leading off into the darkness is ominous and oppressive.
Connor lights a torch as he advances, dirt and chips of stone fall from the ceiling as the group advances...
‘The corridor goes on for a very short while before it comes to a crossroad; it continues into darkness, but to the left and right there are very short branches that end in heavy wooden doors hinged and trimmed with iron. Bloody hand prints cover the door to the right, while the door to the left appears to have been battered by heavy weapons; it’s splintered and cracked, but has obviously held.

Staying close to the head of the group to look ahead (I'm assuming half-demons have tieflings' darkvision) Hatch glances side to side to the possible directions. "Bloody handprints or a battered door. Were the handprints an attempt to open or close that door? And the other door, did whatever cause that damage come from this side or the other side of it? And by what?"
Investigation roll 13
(Someone else please feel free to help investigate)
As Hatch examines the doors he determines that the bloody handprints were probably an attempt to push the door open by someone , the other door is deeply dented by blows from this side as if someone was trying to break into the room...
creepy... and that smell... Tom mutters to himself as they move forward...
Once at the doors, Tom responds to Hatch, and also gives him a hand with the Investigation. "Hmmm... either way doesn't look good. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe?" the elf laughs in a bit of an annoying way, trying to make light of the situation but likely the wrong place for a joke.
"Ahem sorry about that. Ok, pick a door and I'll cover you."
Tom has his longbow Ready and will aim it at whichever door the party decides to try and open.
"I can try to see if I can get one of the doors open..." Brocc says, pulling out a small billfold with assorted tools inside of it. He glances to the others. "I am not all that good with these though, so either could aid someone else in the attempt, or wouldn't mind some help from someone else as I do so." He leans his spear against the wall near the door with the bloody hand prints as he waits for a response from the others.
Brocc will cast guidance on himself if he is the one to try the door. If someone else tries it, then he will cast it on them instead, and give the help action for them.
"I can't determine if either room is better than the other. Someone tried to smash their way into that room," Hatch says, pointing to the battered door. "While the one with the handprints was also of someone trying to get in. If people were that desperate to get into either room...we should not tarry in this corridor for long..." he finishes, feeling a great unease.
Tom has his longbow cocked and aiming directly at the door the Brocc is trying to open, ready to shoot over Brocc's head and into anything that is hostile.
Once unlatched the door began to swing open and closed of its own accord....the room beyond is virtually empty, but the few smashed crates, barrels and shelf-covered walls suggest that this was some kind of storeroom. However, the whole far-right of the room, about a third of the floor, has collapsed away to reveal the land slowly crawling by, and the wind howls through the opening, blowing back anything not tied down.
As the door opens and assuming Brocc and Connar enter, Tom will rush into the room behind them with cat-like grace, bow drawn, doing a complete scan of the room (kind of like a special forces person entering a room, but with a bow instead of a gun) checking for anything that the first glances might've missed. Once he realizes the right side of the room is basically non-existent "Woahhhh!" , he'll stay away from it to not fall and then once the room is scanned he'll exit and get into position for someone to open the other door.

Hatch grabs hold of his axe tightly and says nothing, stepping alongside Brocc and keeping his golden eyes alert, peering into the darkness.

"But, if we can get into one of them, then we might just have a safe place to retreat to." Brocc points out.
"That's what I was hinting at yes," the paladin agreed, keeping a watch out should anything come out of the darkness of the corridor.
"Well Brocc - have at it."
Tom has his longbow cocked and aiming directly at the door the Brocc is trying to open, ready to shoot over Brocc's head and into anything that is hostile.
Brocc set about working with the thieves tools on the lock, Connor assisting him with pointers, after a few tense moments the door latch clicked open.
