This really irritates Shere he tries the door to see if its unlocked
"What is it that you want me to do? I have no tools and I'm not surre, If you want to waste time and miss out on the frruit, go pat yourself I am not your pet."
Shere then walks away to the other side of the room and starts cleaning his claws with his dagger. Tail moving back and forwards like a snake.
@Shere - You try the door and it opens. Damp and crumbling stone steps descend into the darkness. It continues for a while then you see another set of steps leading upwards, again, about 15 feet.
Daemyar/Elosa, Making your way down the steps then up the next set of stairs, there is a hallway about 40 feet in length before it turns to the south. The floor here is clean and only sparse patches of fungus dot the walls. It is much colder here and the dampness is pervasive, but there are no signs of enemies... If you look around the corner, you will find a long hallway that stretches past your darkvision. The walls of that long corridor are decorated every ten feet or so with stone-carved dragon heads. Ithelion, if you look through Elosa, she is able to tell the corridor stretches to nearly the limit of her darkvision, with two doors near the end of that hall, both on the east side...
“You we’re doing well.” Daemyar says before passing into the stairway.
When they come to the hall, Daemyar halts. “Ithelion… I know you are attached to your bird, but I don’t like the look of this hall. It could be my imagination, but… this place is not friendly. Send bird through without me?”
Ithelion stares blankly at Shere's apparent compliment, and glances behind herself, wondering if she has grown a tail...or, worse, fur. She glances down at her hands. Krom's words provide no reassurance, and she rubs her face, wondering if it is indeed fur. She is about to ask for clarification when Daemyar's words make her laugh, and she smiles at the young hobgoblin. Strange days, these.
"No", she says to Krom, "The light is not needed for now."
She stands still and observes through Elosa's senses while Daemyar moves forward. When he speaks she opens her eyes and tells the others what she has seen and asks Shere to relay the information about the doors, and asks Daemyar to wait while she moves forward.
She moves cautiously and stealthily up to Daemyar, then extends her magical senses up the corridor as far as they will go. If she detects nothing, she crouches down and leans against the wall and tells Daemyar to tap her hand if he needs her to respond. She then asks Elosa to move cautiously ahead and examine the first of the dragon sculptures, then move on up the corridor to get a better view of what lies past the doors, and to listen for sounds.

Pretty sure spell will still be running, but it only has a range of 30'.
@Ithelion - other than Elosa and the faint magic showing in the stonesmasonry, nothing in range pings on your magical radar. The dragon skulls must have been quite the sight when they were sculpted, and flecks of paint can still be seen on some of them. They depict a strong looking dragon face in various stages of a roar. The craftsmanship that would have went into this borders on the magical but, according to your senses, isn’t. Same goes for the doors at the end of the hall. They do not appear to be trapped, or at least you see no evidence of such. Do you know Draconic and/or Elvish?
Based on the writing and runes on the first door you come to, you suspect that it’s a library of some sort. The other door to the south of this one has nothing written on it.
Ithelion's senses return to her, and she stands up, dusting herself down, already missing her favourite cantrip. "Looks like a library. That's somewhere I would like to go. Not sure about the other door, but Elosa did not sense anything."
(( @DM: What did ELosa see further down the corridor? Or did it end? ))
The corridor ends. This library door on the east side, then about 30 feet further is the other unmarked door. The corridor ends about 20 feet or so after that. This corridor is quite long.
Daemyar leads the way to the door and offers it to Shere.
“I am not yet too old to learn.”
Paladin - warforged - orange
Shere looks over the door looking for traps then listens

Shere, you don't hear anything beyond the door, nor does the door look trapped or even locked, for that matter...

Krom holds up at the back of the group as they open and look in the next door, "I think ye grew some stubble there elf. Do ye still need the light?"
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Now embarrassed Shere remains silent and watches
