Monster Hunters: the Slayer's Take is now hiring...
The famous monster hunter guild in the Dawn City is looking for brave adventures to join it's ranks. They are looking for the cunning, the talented, inventive, and resourceful. Adventures near and far have answered the call. It's a basic monster hunter game with puzzle elements and old school dungeon crawls. This is intended as a multi-arch campaign.

Milo Thornwood
Halfling Monk, Way of the Open Hand
Milo grew up in the small village of Charis on Wildemont. He grew up with his father, brother and three sisters. His mother passed away when she gave birth to Milo. During his youth he trained the way of the Monk with his Master, a Ravenite Dragonborn. One day, one of his sisters had a vision that led him deep into the Lotusden Greenwood. There Milo encountered a hag and only escaped thanks to a human from the Dwendalian Empire who was scouting the forrest. The human gave a stone shaped like a cats head to Milo ( it was stolen from the hag in the first place). The stone is a good luck charm. Barely getting away from the hag with his life didn‘t stop Milos desire for travel. On the contrary it made him want to see the world even more. He traveled the Dwendalion Empire and the Menargerie Coast before setting sail across the ocean. Always on the search for new adventures and new masters to hone his skills.
Favourite Character: Grog Strongjaw/Travis for his dedication to put the character/stats/storry before min/maxing.
Other games: DM 1 PbP game, playing 2 FtF online once every 2 weeks , 5PbP
Starting equipment+20d4 51
Magic Item: Insignia of Claws i couldn't find it on the page, but it has the effect of a +1 weapon wich is listed at 1000.
Feldspar left grey dwarven society because of his kind heart and the fact that he is a little "off"; he genuinely believes that he was born in the future and is aging backwards into the past. This is why he is able to see the future sometimes; he thinks he is "remembering" future events that he lived through.
Fave Critical Role Character: Scanlan. I actually know very little about the Critical Role world, as I use the show for "background noise" while focusing on my own projects. But he still made an impression!
Other Games: Not currently in any PbP; it's a new format for me, and I am excited to try it out. I currently DM one regular table top game, and do one-shots, as well.
I can add the rest later. Do you want us to link a character sheet? If so, should we apply all relevant adjustments to our rolled ability scores?
Growing up in a snowy town near the Quannah Breach, Wuldric would often observe the weary travelers who'd stop by to rest up whilst on their journeys. He didn't care about their profession, their backstory, their potential crimes, rather he was fascinated with how they thought: their intrinsic motivation, why they kept doing what they did. His obsession eventually lead to him keeping a notebook full of observations about the people he's seen and how they interact with the world around them. After discovering hemocraft when charting a mission far out in the mountains, Wuldric decided it would be better to put his abilities to use by blazing a trail in other unexplored areas of the world, all while meeting new people and figuring out why they act the way they do. (If you need me to flesh out any other aspects of my backstory when it comes to magic items and patrons whatnot, feel free to pm! I tried to keep if brief and vague so that its malleable enough for you to work with)
Favorite CR Character: Shakäste, honestly just a really well-executed character.

Revek was born into a humble Zemnian family in Rexxentrum. Bored by the life his parents led, he joined the Righteous Brand full of excitement and patriotism. He was a natural talent with the spear and quickly rose in rank. However, he was missing something in life and could not quite grasp what it was. That was until he met a recruiter of knightly order of paladins and he realized that he had been looking for a bigger purpose, for a more meaningful life. He left the Righteous Brand to defend and spread civilization in the name of the Lawbearer. He served the order well, but his direct, almost rude nature made him fall from favor with his superiors. They got tired of dealing with him, so they sent him as far away as they could, to get rid of him, they sent him to guard the transport of an important relict to Vasselheim.
Harok grew up here. He lost his family to a beast on a hunting trip and has trained for a chance to join the guild and prevent his story from happening to someone else.
Half-orc lawful neutral fighter
Favorite character Grog. Currently in 1 pbp that's mostly in hiatus. Currently no tabletop

Backstory: Born in the outskirts of Whitestone , Leris didn’t really have much choice in life than to survive and try to do his best. His appearance was somewhat unappealing to other denizens of Whitestone, and so he had to leave the town with the first bunch of moderately decent people that would take him. Now he strives to get better at use of his arcane, and figure out why he was born in this strange way.
Favourite character would probably be Scanlan, although it’s a toss up between him, Percy and Caleb. I’ve seen both campaigns and am quite invested in the lore.
Saske grew up in a small farming village not far from Vesselheim. He spent his childhood with his parents and children from the village. His mother died when he was 24 and his father only two years later. Both had a peaceful death. He sold what they inherited him and started traveling around. One thing that he kept was a longsword that belonged to his family for gernerations. His dad allways told him that it is not a normal sword and that if wielded perfectly it would nopt only hurt the enemy but also give a bit of his power to the wielder. Saske never was sure if it was true, but it was a fine crafted sword. So he practiced every day with this sword and his dad was allways smiling when he saw Saske with the sword. Looking at the sword allways reminds him of the good times with his parents and he takes very good care of it. One day while being in Vesselheim, he was fascinated by the stories and narratives of a group called Vox Machina. He was intrigued and set his path to find them. During his travels, he found an old book. This should change his life. From that point on he had otherwordly powers. Which he didn't choose. He could do magic. He trailed after Vox Machina but always seemed to be one step too late. When Vacna rose, Saske was in Vesselheim tried to help the old and ill people there, knowing that he had no chance against an enemy like Vacna. His goal is still to meet his heroes from Vox Machina.
Depending on your class you get a set amount of gold for starting equipment in the place of just picking the equipment offered with your class. An example is here:
So, say you choose wizard you would roll: 4d4 then multiply that by 10 for your base. Then you would do it for 4 more times to equal the 5 levels which would = your starting gold for equipment/gear over the 'five levels' your PC has been adventuring and earning gold. Nothing magical, however (potions included) can be purchased but gear can be purchased that your class is proficient with that your PC would have acquired over the course of adventuring for 5 levels. Make sense? If you have a question about an item you can PM me!

Thanks, I was having trouble with this, since the character builder doesn't list prices for magic items in the Inventory.
