Thoughts on UA? Also the cost of uncommon magic items in the DM's manual suggests they are all a maximum cost of 500 and rare going from 500-5000. Looking through the link you posted it has cloak of elvenkind priced at 5000 and other uncommon magic items going up to at least 8000 (the cost of very rare magic items). Do you want us to just use that link? If there is a rare magic item it lists for that price what are your thoughts on it?

Backstory: Hollbec was born in Hupperdook, the third son in a large family that often teetered on the brink of poverty. His father was a hard worker, but struggled to achieve any more than owning a small street-side cart of trinkets. As a child Hollbec spent his holidays manning the cart and selling overpriced fireworks to the jubilant children of the prosperous designers and manufactures of the city. His family encouraged him to study mechanical design, but he was fascinated by magic. His fascination grew to obsession which alienated his family and, eventually, angered several civic leaders in Hupperdook. Effectively exiled from the only city he ever knew, Hollbec is looking to make a new start.

The adventurers couldn't activate him, so they sold him to a wizard/artificer. The wizard/artificer spent months and was finally able to work out how to activate Mordikai. When Mordikai first gained consciousness, he came pre-loaded with memories for language and crafting, and knowledge of Moradin, The Allhammer, but otherwise had no other memories. Being a free willed construct, Mordikai escaped from the wizard/artificer and sought out worshippers of Moradin, so the he could try to find out why Moradin was one of the few things he awoke knowing. His time spent learning more about Moradin and making use of his smithing skills, developed a love for Moradin, in Mordikai and so he dedicated himself to the Allhammer, becoming one of his clerics. Recently, Mordikai has set out to Vasselheim, to correct a wrong he sees, and attempt to increase the standing of Moradin among the people of Vasselheim. Ultimately Mordikai hopes to elevate Moradin to a level where his voice is heard among the Dawn Marshals Council, but for now he must find work and attempt to make a name for himself in Vasselheim and its surrounding territories. Human Wildfire Druid of the Fire Ashari

Growing up among the Fire Ashari, Sukai learned all about the power of the elemental planes and the need to defend the world from these powerful threats. Having been born with a strange mark on her left shoulder and a mysterious affinity for magic, she was trained in the druidic abilities of her people. When Vox Machina came, she was amazed by their power and swore to one day be able to help others like them. Her perfect life of training and learning was shattered when Thordak escaped the Fire Plane and devastated her tribe, killing her parents and burning Sukai. When she awoke in the aftermath, surrounded by escaping fire elementals, she thought she was doomed. Unable to walk, Sukai reached within herself and her connection to nature crying out for help. A large flame wreathed bird rushed out from the open portal. The wildfire spirit stood over her and even though the flames from it washed over her, she felt no heat. As the creature wrapped her in its wings, there was a flash of light. When Sukai opened her eyes, she was sitting on a rock ledge high up on the side of the caldera. Far away from the open portal. Looking over at her savior she watched as the flaming bird slowly shrunk due to being so far from the Fire Plane.
Sukai would love to say that she rushed back in and aided her tribe and when the Air Ashari and Vox Machina returned she helped close the rift. In truth, Sukai has not returned home since that day. With her spirit she limped down the Caldera into the forest below and hid in the woods. There she tended to her burns. After that, she wandered searching for a new place to call home. Wandering, wide eyed into Vasselheim, the large city blew her away. Now she is looking for work and a new family.
Description: Standing at only 5'2", Sukai is a small human around 17 years old. She has fiery red hair and bright blue eyes. Below her eyes is a smattering of freckles and she always has a mischievous grin. She keeps a pair of red feathers tucked in her hair behind her left ear. She wears a long yellow cloak of her people over a bright red robe. Her right sleeve is long and flowing. She doesn't have a sleeve on her left arm and her mark there is a blue flame that seems to shine with arcane energy. Her right arm is covered in burn wounds, that although healed have scarred her. Her fire spirit looks like a small phoenix most of the time, but changes depending on Sukai's mood. His name is Isana.

In Vasselheim there are whisperings of witch who lives far outside the city. There was an ocean of rumors about her. She turned someone into a toad for looking at her strangely. She can tell you who you will marry. She can allow the dead to speak to you. She stole the Grenzel’s child and ate her. If you are sick, she can help. Don’t go out at night kids or she will curse you. She turns into a cat and stalks the streets looking for someone to make a deal. Everyone who saw her would describe her as an old woman with a mess of knotted black hair, glowing blue eyes, and purple skin. She wore robes of tattered black and knew more than she should.
Often, the Slayer’s Take would ask her for aid in ventures. Potions, knowledge, and spells were oft requested. They always came with a price. A lock of hair, a favor, gold, material for a spell, or most often things from town that she needed including food and living materials.
Rose grew up deep in the woods, raised by an elderly witch who had found her crying in the woods. Taking the baby in, the witch decided to raise her as her own. As the child grew, the witch taught her. Rose learned of all the amazing things in the woods and how to manipulate them and more importantly, how to manipulate the towns folk. When the townsfolk came, she hid and watched her mother spin the web of charms and lies that kept her appearance up as a hag like witch. Often the items she requested in addition to pay were simply there to keep up appearances. As Rose grew older, she began to deal with the townsfolk, disguising herself as her mother, she would interact with and sell their goods and favors. Eventually, the witch died and as Rose spent her time in the woods she grew increasingly interested in town and what it would be like to interact with others and have friends. One day she left a note on her door saying she was out searching for a coven. Wandering towards town looking like herself, she was amazed by what she had been missing out on. Deciding to split her time, she opened an apothecary in town to continue her work. With both jobs having a lot of interaction with Slayer’s Take she slowly got to know them and decided recently that she would join them to see more of the world.
A tall slender deep purple tiefling. Above her eyes are a pair of small horns that curve upwards. Her long black hair falls down to the middle of her back. Wearing simple maroon robes, she moves with an ease of movement. Her eyes are a soft green. When she casts spells they turn into black pits. Around her neck is a necklace with an ammonite she was given as payment one time.
I have 3 different class builds for the character to fill 3 different roles in the party from blaster, utility, and support, you can choose 1 if you want or I can depending on what the party is lacking
Wizard: Chronogist with mostly utility spells and crowd control who will specialize in divination spells when I can

This is a single use item, you can't find something more permanent? A potion is on my no, no list. The fast list us just an example.
