Nuté follows the others to the ally but ceases to look at the sky and starts looking at the ground for any signs of trembling, as if something might be burrowing. Failing that Nuté turns his focus to trying to determine if this is caused by some sort of magic. Regardless if either yield any results he would quietly mumble I knew today was going to full of Ill luck..
Nuté, after a moment you realize that a burrowing creature would have a direction associated with it. This is coming from all around you. Wracking your brain on any sort of magic spell or item comes up empty as well... you've never heard of anything that could cause this.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Anyllis left confused, much like the others, he strains to hear to try and make out the source while grasping on the orb in his necklace, even if its with his ears alone. Not only does he advance to the alleyway, but he hides there also...
"Seems this...feeling is coming from underground. I say we get to the Portal as quick as we can. Perhaps staying off the main streets. Sticking to the shadows has always worked for me"he says with a wry smile. He waits to hear the group's opinions.
"Stealth has never been something that I've been good at," Arrila admits, "I think as long as we're careful we shouldn't have any issues. It's alright girl,"she tries to sooth Sundance, "everything's going to be alright."
Arrila hums quietly to Sundance to try and sooth her more, but follows along with the rest. It had been a long time since she had been to Waterdeep, and was looking foreward to seeing the Portal again.
Nuté also followed along but kept looking up to the sly hoping to see something. Occasionally he can be heard muttering something about ill omens to himself.
You make it to the Portal with no further incidents. Along the way, you're able to board Sundance at 4 gp a week, which covers feeding and watering.
The Portal is in full swing with the lunch crowd when you arrive, the sounds of music and conversation covering any of the unease you were still feeling. Most of the tables are taken, but there are a few empty toward the back. Durnan is behind the bar polishing a glass with a surly look on his face. Bargirls weave in and out of the tables, delivering drinks and platters of their famous fried quippers.

Arrila pays the gold for boarding and leaves Sundance there, ensuring she'd be comfortable before leaving to join the others at the Portal. When she arrives, she can't help but smile at all the people and the commotion. She approaches Durnan, "Hello, you're Durnan correct?"
Durnan looks her up and down. An' yer the Light a' Lathandar. He says gruffly. Here. On'a house. He fills the mug with a dark brew and plops it on the counter.
Awash with warmth, the sense of dread abates... mostly. What helps is the smell of fried quippers wafting in Anyll'sdireciton, "Oh, fried quipper?! No way! I'll get a bowl to share."
Anyll able to slink through the lunch noise and crowd to order a sharing size bowl of quippers. While he's at the bar, he asks, "I guess it is pretty loud in here, but you wouldn't have heard or felt some rumbling a moment or two ago?"
Durnan shoots a look at Anyll. Yeah I heard it. Still feelin' it. An' it don't bode well. You lot better be worth tha trouble's all I gotta say. Quippers'll be there ina mo'. Meantime guess I oughta let Erlanthar know yer here. He looks rather disgruntled, but gets the attention of a waitress and gives her a nod, turning his back and grabbing another glass to polish.

Durnan now turns his gaze to Nuté. He looks him up and down, and actually gives him a sly smile. Not real use ta not knowin' stuff, are ya'? Daresay yeh'll be knowin' more'n ya want soon enough. Not my place ta introduce ya. Erlanthar's more'n capable.
Why Durnan,a voice from behind you says, that may be the nicest thing you've ever said to or about me. I hope you're not getting sentimental on me.Turning, you see a young half-elf in simple monk robes. He has a genuine smile on his face. Durnan just grunts and rolls his eyes. Please put whatever they order on my tab.Durnan nods and waves him off, turning to take more orders. Leosin looks the group over, smiling happily. I'm very glad you're all here so promptly. I see my faith was not misplaced. Let us sit, and talk of these dark times and how we think you can help.He heads back to a round table big enough for the group.

Phidi, the disturbance doesn't seem to be coming from a monster, it seems to almost be coming from the earth itself.

Anyll feels he is quite well hidden behind a small, broken wall that comes up to his knees. He can see quite well while hidden, too.
He feels something much like the others...a vibration that is so low he could only feel it when he was hidden, and even then only barely.
