Eris cocks a brow at the dryad. Fey normally we’re tricksters, weren’t they? She cannot help but feel unease at her words, unsure to fully trust them or not.
(Does she sense any malintent behind the dryads words/does she trust them? Watch me roll a 1 lol) Insight: 20

"Traps are not because of Mother Stag, traps because of STUPID evil unicorn!! BeEPoopTAT!"Olitor explains.
Within a clearing, three massive trees have grown together, their trunks entwining overhead. A hollow between them forms the interior of a dwelling, with thick branches acting as it's roof. Dense patches of mushrooms grow in garden plots around this unique domicile. "Our cottage,"Mother Stag says. "Our dryad tree - some of the last in these woods that haven't yet succumbed to Banrion's corruption."
She welcomes you in and introduces you to two other elderly dryads. One looks like a skunk, and one looks like a mole. "These are my sisters, Mother Skunk, and Mother Mole."They prepare delicious meals for you all and excellent smelling tea. Should you wish to partake in eating, your wounds fully heal. As you eat, Mother Stag explains, "Just as goodly deities assign unicorns to protect sacred places, Banrion serves an evil god, who sent her to corrupt these peaceful woods. Since her arrival, the dark-hearted unicorn has hunted goodly fey into near extinction, with the help of evil creatures that now serve her."
"Tell us, dearies. Why are you here in this forest? Perhaps, if you wish, we could be of mutual assistance? This forest is dangerous. If you are traveling someplace, we could serve as your guides in exchange for the capture of Banrion, mm yes?"
Alta scowls deeply at the mention of an evil unicorn. What if...no, they're fine. Turlang can handle most anything on his turf, and it would never make it to the grove. She nods slowly. "I would be delighted to help you with your...unicorn problem."

As the party arrives at the hollow, Dalavash takes 10minutes to cast Prayer of Healing, returning 17 hp back to every member of the party, then settles back to listen - allowing others who know more of the fey to take the lead in the discussion.
"OOhoOhoHOhoo!"Mother Stag coos and shivers grandmotherly in delight. "Wonderful, wonderful! What say the rest of you, dearies?" Mother Skunk and Mother Mole look on anxiously, wide grins on their faces. "Oh, joy of joys, finally someone to handle the corruption! Yes, mm, yes!"
"SKADALABEEPOEEEP!"Olitor scats in delight. "Help you, we can! Give lost travelers items to assist! mmmDEpdp EB DEOP!
Eris was apprehensive at the offer of food although she senses no ill intent from the group of creatures. She folds her fan with a slight sigh, putting it away in her pouch before merely sipping on the tea they offered, only touching the food had someone else eat it themselves. The prospect of yet another mission irritated her, but had they known the location of the clocktower. "I suppose we could lend a hand if you happen to know of the exact location of the clocktower we're looking for."

"Well, then, we SUpPOOosSeeeeEEE we know where exactly where the clocktower is."Olitor makes a long winded impression of Eris at the word "suppose". Mother Stag bops him on the top of his recap, emitting a loud "DaP!!!"in surprise.
"Then we have an agreement?"she asks, excited at the notion.
Seldor will eat the food since he is still down some HP after being poisoned and having spiked nuts bonk him on the head. "I suppose that we have an agreement." He says in response to Mother Stag.

Dalavash nods his agreement. ‘It feels right to help against this evil creature. We must satisfy ourselves as to the right way of dealing with it though...’
Having thoroughly pillaged the refreshments, Hamdel nods in agreement.
"So, kill the unicorn, and you guys give us free helpful stuff, and then you lead us to the tower we want to... see? Sounds like an excellent arrangement."
Mother Stag hands you all a bridle of capturing. Olitor says, "Use this to capture Banrion. Do not kill her! CAAAAAAAPture her. BeEP!"
Mother Skunk takes a whole bunch of tree branches and magically weaves them into crowns. "Wear these to protect yourself from the sunbeams. As long as you wear them, you can travel the forest without fear of triggering any of the foul unicorn's traps."
"Come!"Mother Mole waves you all to follow her. "Come! SnF! ffnS! Yes! Will lead you now to her lair!"
The dryads lead you to a part of the forest where the corruption once more has taken root. Beyond the corruption, again, lies the sunbeams. There is a very well worn and obvious path in the forest now that leads deeper into it, and further into the corruption.
"Follow the path." Mother Mole explains. "Wear the crowns. We do not dare go further. Banrion is a terrible, horrible creature. We are too afraid. We will be safe here. Olitor will go with you. Capture the unicorn, bring her back to us. Along way, you will find ruined city - the clocktower is there, as is Banrion's lair."
"We go now!?!?" Olitor asks impatiently. "DaApBeEP!!"
Dalavash looks to his fellows. ‘I’m a little unfamiliar with the fey. Do all encounters feel rushed and unsatisfying, leaving you with a slight sense of dread that you’re overlooking something...?’
He looks to their hosts, ’No offense intended, Mother’s. I’m used to dealing with more black and white issues, shades of grey leave me.. unsettled.’
"Hmmph, there's something more to this that they're not telling us, I think. Could it be that their magically abilities are somehow constrained or limited to certain parts of the forest? This bears further... hmmmmmmmm yes. Investigation. Still, as my advisor's undersecretary of internal communications was prone to exclaim, 'Excelsior!' or, something like that."
"I'd say no. There's a lot of experiences in this life that are rushed and unsatisfying, but I don't recall an encounter with the fey falling into that category."

Olitor sighs impatiently at Dalavash, overhearing. "Have serious problem in forest, you! DapNBEpBoop!"Olitor barks out. "What more want besides tea, meal, and rest?! Perhaps party!? Cookies and milk with friends?! Evil unicorn corrupting forest, remember? DaAP!"
The trees part to reveal the ruins of an ancient city. All that remains are worn flagstones covered in moss and lichen, toppled blocks of weathered stone, and a former tower fallen and now lying stretched across a fifty foot wide chasm.
The chasm fully circles an isolated plateau of rock at its center. More ruins rise atop this plateau, including sections of walls held together by the roots of stunted trees. On the near side of the chasm, the base of a gigantic fallen tower can be seen, reduced to a broken section of it's former ground floor. A rocky plateau beyond the chasm holds the crumbled shell of an ancient castle.
"Banrion there!"Olitor points. "You go now. I wait here."
Alta places a crown on her head with a smile. "My thanks for your gifts." Once they're at the chasm, she frowns and nods, pulling her greatsword from its sheath. "Let's go get us an evil unicorn, then."
Remember, as long as you wear the thorn crowns, the sunbeams and other nature corruption traps will not affect you. The crumbly ancient castle is Banrion's lair, and across a massive chasm lays the ruins of the fallen clocktower. The clocktower forms a "bridge" across the chasm. Both locations are within the area of this ancient ruin.
