"I do not know much about the fallen clock tower, only that it contains magic I do not understand. I do know that the clock tower was once part of an ancient city which fell to ruin before my time. It houses a magical device. It is a magical machine of gems and silver. I have not approached too closely for fear of the magic it radiates. I have been confined to this limit of the forest due to my weary battle with the coven. Some of the fey have aligned with the coven, and some have aligned with me. If you chose to take the path towards the clock tower, you do so at your own risk. The other path leads back to the coven of hags, corrupting the forest with their foul magics."
"Fallen between a rock and a hard place, I see." Hamdel knots his brow in thought. "A proposal, then. Tell me, are the fey at all fickle, should they see the tide clearly turning one way or another? If it should become known that you had, for instance, acquired the support of the power residing in that ancient clocktower, would enough of the local fey withdraw their support from the coven to provide you an advantage? Indeed, as my friends have already mentioned, our goal in this forest before we were wrongfully waylaid was that clocktower, though our information neglected to mention its disrepair."
He looks around to the rest of the party. "Anything to add?"
"I do not know."she admits. "I will not approach the fallen tower. I have to fight this battle without it's positive or negative effects. All of you, however, are free to explore it at your leisure. I must tend to the defense of the forest."
"I, for one, would defend the beautiful land from those who wish to besmirch it. The trees are calling to me, requesting my blade in their defense against those who wish to befell them." Kitsune proudly exclaims. Continuing, "Besides, this turn of events sounds exciting, and I could use a little excitement these days!"
Eris' brows crease at the events unfolding before her. She believed the mothers were telling the truth, now they were liars and they were to believe the unicorn? It seems that everyone else was on board with their story. The sorceress sighs and unfolds her fan, slowing fanning herself. Whatever it took to get this mission over and done with. At least she knew of the location of a clocktower, all they had to do was help. She says nothing on the matter for now, seemingly having no problem with whatever the group decided it were best to do.

Dalavash sighs. ‘I don’t believe we should walk away from a known evil, but I’m also not sure if we’re yet up to the task of fighting a coven than can manipulate light itself to trap us.’
Banrion carefully tags along with you all and you're able to avoid any arboreal traps thanks to the crowns of thorns. You reach the three massive trees that have grown together, twisted and corrupt. A large hollow between the trunks leads in to the lair of the coven. As you stand outside the tree, cackling can be heard outside, from all directions.
"Fools who have seen through our deception.."
"Finally, yes, dearies. A dramatic conclusion!"
"They have the unicorn as well..many birds..one stone.."
A terrible black inky substance that defies gravity as you know it coils and drips outside coming from inside the hollow. You stand in front of the massive tree, and you can tell that the coven might burst through at any moment. All around you, you can hear the scurrying of corrupted fey creatures. You are definitely not alone with the Three.
"This ends here, now."Banrion promises. "Should I perish, know that you have fought for a great purpose this day, and you have my thanks."
Eris sneers at the hags and readies herself for the fight.

As the battle erupts, countless small corrupted fey creatures and animals of the forest claw and gnash at your flesh like waves of darkness and evil.
