(Did Fianna search the bodies before she dumped them? If she did, we can resolve that...) (Where specifically is Kelnan and Molo looking for keys?)
Kelnan finds that both drawers in the captain's writing desk are locked, and do not appear to be trapped. With a key, a good set of tools, or some brute force, it could probably be readily opened, he determines.
He examines the chest next door as well, in the other officer's cabin. He checks the chest for traps: 2nd Investigation: 8

(Where does Fianna intend to search?)
Fianna indeed searched the bodies soon after we won on deck, and it was resolved with finding nothing of import:
Fianna finds nothing of special interest among the many bodies. Worn armor, mediocre weapons, cheap jewelry, and personal effects.
Kelnan sees no sign of anyone above. His calls go unanswered.
All is quiet for the moment.
So then later, after saving Elbow, the bodies were dumped as they’d already been searched.
At this point, believing all threat to be gone for the immediate time, Fianna is taking a short rest to recoup her spells in case threats return later with the escaped lizard men or pirates. She’d also like to recoup some hp just in case... Searching can come after that, she figures.
Among the cheap jewelry and junky miscellany that Fianna found on the bodies were some small metal pieces that Fianna dismissed as cutlery or tools or trinkets of some sort. She realizes now that they must be keys. There are three of them, quite similar in construction. Fortunately she didn't throw them overboard with their owners; they are still on the deck.

Dain explores the lower cabins, testing his suspicions about the construction of the vessel.
The starboard cabin contains a pair of closed chests. The title of one of the books on the table catches his eye, "Principles of Navigation".
The parrot wakes up upon his entering the cabin to port. "Kill 'em all! Kill 'em all!" it squawks. Underneath a hammock is a brass-bound wooden sea chest; in the flagon is some potent-smelling cider.
Both rooms seem to have cheap paneling at the aft end. It takes a long moment of investigation for Dain to realize that a piece seems to be removable in both rooms. (If you choose to open one, tell me which one first - the port or starboard cabin?)
Dain will return topside and tell the group that he's found some secret compartments downstairs. However, he's feeling a little beaten up and will sit down for a rest before opening them, given that the immediate threat of the ship crashing is gone. He'll also mention the chests that are downstairs. "Possible loot to be found there. Oh and I noticed some mining gear which was supposed to be delivered to the mines ages ago," he tells the group. "So these lads were definitely stealing stuff."
OOC: Very happy to have a Short Rest before we continue searching.
Molo gets excited at the idea of hidden valuables and will go sneak a peek at the starboard cabin’s hidden compartment first. Folllowing up with port before getting a rest.
Molo hobbles back down and peeks behind the panel in the starboard compartment. He finds a cramped area, only four feet wide at the widest, sandwiched between the cabin and the ship’s stern. It contains eight large, irregularly shaped bundles wrapped in oilskin and bound with light rope, piled haphazardly on the deck.
In the cabin next door, he peeks behind the other panel, and finds an identical compartment. This one appears to be a holding cell. A slim humanoid figure cowers in the corner, chained to the hull. He looks up at Molo, sullenly. "Hvað ertu?" he asks, quietly.
(Before reacting to the person: Molo had cast comprehend languages in dealing with the lizards, just in case. Has it been an hour? If so, he’ll cast it again.)
“I’m a warrior without equal,” Molo says To him with a little puff of his chest. “You would do well to remember that.” Molo will go above deck to find the others.
”Dain! You failed to mention there was a person in a cage in your secret place.” Still opening up the oil soaked whatever to see what it is.
The strange humanoid – an elf of some sort? – looks at Molo without comprehension. (He appears not to understand Common. As to his nature, roll a Nature check if you choose.)
Molo unwraps one of the bundles. It contains ten morningstars, brand new.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Molo whips a morningstar around a few times. “And they’re smuggling weapons, apparently... maybe the lizardfolk were shipping them. Probably important to tell the council folk.”
“We have a task that will heal Molo?” Fianna asks, confused.
"I do," Katernin corrects. "And maybe not heal, but get him a prosthesis."

"Well if you have a way to help him, we shall of course follow your lead," Fianna says. "So the council and then to aid Molo, as you say."
With their future decided, Fianna will help finish the fine tooth search of the ship, then see what's next...
Katernin seems a bit surprised by Molo, put squeezes him gently, "Don't worry about it Molo."

(You're welcome to examine further. Just tell me where/how.)
Dain will move downstairs and go into each of the rear cabins. He will methodically search each one for signs of hidden doors on the back walls.

I'm not sure which skill you use for this. If I have a choice, I'll go with Perception as I'm slightly better at that.
