In Eili's travels, the word, 'spa' has come up a handful of times. The simplest she's heard it described is a fancy bath. She thought nothing of it, a lake and a waterfall has worked fine for her. So when she almost trips on the single-step leading to a smooth marble tile, her eyes go wide as dinner plates. The walls aren't as finely carved as with the rest of the building. She guesses that was on purpose to feel more like a cavern. There is a ten-foot-wide pool on the ground with steam coming out of it. Upon closer inspection, Eili can see glowing red rocks at the very bottom of it.
Eili, who has not bathed since she left the Bound Six (which she only ever did for their benefit anyways) decides that, if she is to be around people once more, perhaps it is time to give it another shot. Then, it is time to rest, with the hopes that whoever she is supposed to be meeting in Veingo would be less... exciting in the morning.
Eili and Jaden both wake up in Soale's Bed feeling quite refreshed. You gather your things and make your way downstairs, following the sweet smell of honey. The tavern is currently empty, save for a few unconscious patrons slumped over chairs and tables. The tavernkeeper, Soale, has prepared two plates of crispy pastries, patterned with strips of hot honey. "Hope you two slept well. Where ya headed?"
On the streets of Veingo...
Silver wakes up with a start, wearing what she could only assume to be a shirt belonging to a man twice her size. After a quick pat-down, she finds none of her belongings are gone, but does find some shiny rocks that weren't there before. Her head and body are her worst enemies right now. Every single involuntary movement makes her hiss in pain. It takes her about ten minutes to get herself off the ground, much with the help of a lamppost.
Nephis' eyes slowly blink open and he has to shield his face. Amzu's morning sun seeing no reason to give the man mercy. He isn't hungover, as he had enough sense to stay off alcohol as much as possible, but his entire body aches. He can't remember the last time his body hurt this much. It takes him a full minute to sit up, and another to get back to your feet.
Kircam yawns blissfully as he returns to the land of the conscious. Only...hold on. How'd he get in a bed? He doesn't remember checking into an inn. He tries to move one arm, can't, then turns to see it is holding a soundly sleeping kenku woman. Same with the other. And on his chest. It takes him a moment to realize what may have happened. Slowly, carefully, he gets out of bed and finds his clothes and equipment. Carefully exiting the building, and coming face to face with the human woman from last night. Or, it might have been. Granted this one's hair is blonde and not caked in red paint. She smiles gleefully at him.
Nephis groans in pain from the sunlight and his aching body. Leaning against the side of a building, he steadies himself and attempts to get a sense of what had happened to him - is he wounded? Are there any notable stains or marks on his clothing? Does he still have all his possessions on him? What time does it appear to be?
Brushing himself off and rubbing his eyes, Nephis shakily attempts a spell. It takes him a few tries, but he gets back into the swing of things, enough to cast prestidigitation multiple times to clean himself off from the party last night. After a bit, he deems himself presentable once more, and sets off with a calm (though a bit wobbly) air about him. He looks for a nearby tavern to find breakfast and some information.
"Not my best night." the young nobleman chuckles quietly to himself.
As he walks about town, everything looks...relatively peaceful, compared to last night. Some folks are sweeping away glitter and leaves from their patios, while others are going about their day. Some people are stumbling about, much like Nephis, while others have still yet to wake up. It takes him a while to find a hanging sign that says "Soale's Bed", and the thought of a bed gives him the strength to push on further. Turning the corner into the open shop, he sees a young man, a bit older than him sitting by the bar next to an elven woman whom he swears he recognizes from last night.
The woman tending to them spots Nephis and says, "Grab a seat, sweetheart. I can make a little bit of the aching go away."
"It was hard to meditate," Eili says, "with the noise." She takes a bite of a pastry, and suddenly remembers how good the food of the civilized world could be sometimes. "I'm destined for Sunswall," she says, answering Soale.
Kricam will also make a beeline for the street to try and find the woman who talked to him so he can get back on task. He is a bit shameful of last night, but mostly because he knows he did enjoy the carefree feeling. He will constantly be checking his stuff as well, just to make 100% sure his late night adventures did not cost him.
All of Kricam's belongings are there and intact, if not plenty stained of paint from last night. The woman laughs at his demeanor. " Oh, come on! It was fun! Hey, your group is gathering in a tavern down the street. Follow me! Come on! Oh! I'm Lola, by the way." She gives Kircam a hug, then strides down the road.
"Sunswall, huh?" Soale hums. "That's quite a ways away on foot. You got a ride or something-oh gods-"
"HI SOALE! This next guy's gonna make four! Or five...I think..." Lola beams, gesturing to Kircam.
Nephis sits down steadily. "Thank you, madam, that would be much appreciated. There's something to the music and festivities here - they draw you into them, in a way. It's quite new for me."
He jumps, turning to Lola as she bursts in. His nerves wracked, he sits there stunned, until he pieces together that the group is gathering here.
“I’m glad to see I was not the only one to experience the ... liberation of inhibition.“ Kricam adds whilst finding a seat, “But, I definitely prefer mud to this paint. How did you clean yourself so quickly? Can I have a little bit?” he continues, glancing at the heavily armoured man.
"A bit of magic." Nephis replies. "Stand still a minute, I can get it off, no problem."
Casting another round of prestidigitation, he cleans off the paint in less than a minute. Once it's finished, he sits down, nodding his head to the Aarocockra. "I'm Nephis, by the way."
(He wears chain mail under his coat, so it's not too bulky. At least, that's how he'd see it.)
Jaden surveys the room as he eats his breakfast and smiles at the sorry looks on the faces of those who celebrated too much last night. Then, to make conversation, he begin speaking to the elvish woman sitting at the table with him.
"Good morning, fair one," he says in elvish. "It would seem the inhabitants of Veingo like their partying, though I suspect there will be many sore heads this morning."
He then introduces himself, saying, "My name is Jaden Fellan and I just arrive last night from over the seas and I am a stranger to this town. Could you perhaps tell me where I might find transportation to a town called Sunswall? I have business there."

"I'm gonna go find the cat girl. She was really livin' it up. Hope she's not too sick." Lola runs off down the road. Soale takes a deep breath then looks to the four of you. "You know what, Sunswall isn't that far." After which, she finishes mixing a drink and, after adding a few shreds of leaves, puts the cup down in front of Nephis. He brings it up to his nose to sniff and pulls it away. It's carbonated, a second longer he would've sneezed and spilled it everywhere. Soale gives him a reassuring smile. "Hey now, it's good, trust me."
Nephis breaths in and out for a moment then takes a quick swig. It's a little strong, but he shrugs it off. It's a smooth strawberry taste. The sensation of it hitting his tongue spills to his head then the rest of his body. The unbearable aching is starting to subside.
"Yes," Eili replies to Jaden, and awkwardly mumbles for a little bit. "Forgive me, I am not much for conversation these days, even in my native tongue, but, did you receive a letter as well?"
"A letter?" he says in surprise, reverting to common. "From the mayor of Sunswall? Are you on your way to help them with their incursions as well? I did not take you to be a sell sword, like myself."

"I don't know what help I can be," Eili says, with a mournful tone, "but the letter certainly caught my attention, so I am interested to see where it leads me." Eili realizes this is the first time she has spoken with another humanoid creature in nearly twenty years, and suddenly remembers to be polite and introduce herself. "Eiliyaris. Eili to my friends."
"Well met, Eili, if I may be so bold," says Jaden, reverting to elvish to try to keep their conversation somewhat confidential.
"I am a professional mercenary, but from the sounds of it, you are not... I'm curious. Do you have any idea why the mayor of Sunswall sought you out in particular?"

This is bigger than my hut, Eili thinks. She goes to the other doorway to inspect the next room.

No belongings are missing, nor are their any wounds or strange markings. Nephis guesses that it is about 10 in the morning.
Oh yeah, the three of you get 1 point of exhaustion.
(Wonderful.)
