DMOOC: no worries, I don't mind playing a bit "fast and loose" lol
DMINC: Koric, your turn. What action would you like to take before the beginning of the next round? You are 35 ft from Jhoni and the 5 remaining pirates. You have clear line of sight on at least two of the pirates from where you are standing. The Mutinous Captain is still around 65 ft from you, standing tall on the deck of the ship.
DMOOC: Thinking I may roll initiative for each of you and post it for the beginning next round, just to speed things up a little and keep the thread clean.
Edit: just saw your action. Ranged attack/damage roll for firebolt to a pirate please!
Nivlen rushes down the path toward the disturbance at the gate, readying his crossbow while moving. As he slows to a jog, he sees the source of the disturbance; a group of four local trouble makers known as the BlueBoys(creatively named for the blue headbands they wear) seem to be taunting the two gate guards, who are only a few years older than the boys. In the midst of all this, looking confused, is a large mantis-like humanoid standing around 7 or 8 feet tall, armed with various weapons and adventuring gear. As if this weren't enough to take in, he also notices a human mage who appears to be poised for a fight, while a half elf tries to diffuse the situation. Seeing Nivlen approach, the guard signals for some assistance. There is a unit of four guards armed with crossbows headed down the street from the barracks toward the scene as well, no doubt to help restore order. There is enough time for Nivlen to reach the gate a minute or two before the reinforcements arrive, and he thinks perhaps there is a chance he can help settle the conflict before it escalates any further.
Outside the inn: Mool indicates that the first thing you two(Merric and Righteousness)ought to do is go to the Lowtown docks area of town, and see if any adventurers have come into port recently that may be able to help locate the lair of the dragon, and to see what news of attacks have come in from other nearby areas. He tells you he will arrange for the Crier to call a town meeting later tonight at the temple courtyard to gather all the volunteers and make a plan. Having finished his meal, the hulking Barbarian offers his help as thanks for the meal if you would like it, and he tells you he has many friends in Lowtown who may be able to provide information. Not wanting to risk offending him, you decide it may be best to allow him to tag along.
The three of you are on the stairs heading down the cliff toward the docks, when you notice a skirmish has broken out. A Half-Orc is squared off in the middle of the pier, facing 6 men with cutlasses. Just as he looks as if he will be run through, a bolt of flame launches from the fingers of a nearby female elf, scorching one of the pirates ,then another from a nearby male crisps a second pirate.
Looking farther down the dock, you see the source of the pirates, a long sailing ship where you see another 6 pirates coming up from below decks. One of them is carrying what appears to be a long pole with a metal pipe affixed to one end of it. You can see the captain of the vessel watching the fight on the docks, yelling something the crew on deck. You are around 200 feet away from the end of the stairs where the elves are, and another 30 from the center of the docks. The barbarian sees the proceedings, and begins sprinting toward the action, bellowing out, "BAAAATTTTTLLLLEEEEEE!" with just a little too much glee in his voice.

East woods:Ai'ryn casts Mage armor, but a surge of his innate wild magic causes the plants at his feet to grow rapidly and he is restrained.
two of the bandits rush forward to meet the oncoming construct, the first swings his scimitar and rolls a8 to hit , damage is 4 on a hit,, the second rolls a 10 the damage is 4
Letting out a small yelp, the Merchant begins to try to turn the carriage away from the woods facing south, he is only able to get the horses halfway turned this round.
Gling's turn next, then one bandit, then Tegid, then the other bandit.

Running as fast as you can to keep up with the Barbarian, you reach the end of the stairs to find you are still 15 feet away from the melee. Turning in an arc faster than seems logical, the barbarian winks at you and hoists you high above his head, and yelling"FASTBALL SPECIAL!!!" , throws you the remaining distance at the pirate who is attempting to flank Jhoni. You lead with the weight of your Morningstar, catching the pirate in the face.
Please roll for damage with your morning star with a +1 inertia bonus, and then please roll a DC 12 dex save or become prone and suffer 2 falling damage. You are now next to Jhoni on the dock.

Seeing you talking to the Blue Boys earlier, and now seeing them associating with the strange creature before him was apparently too much for this guard to handle. It was probably his day off, and he switched duty with a friend so he could have the weekend off to go to the festival on the best days. Now he has had enough, and demands some normalcy from the lot of you. Being not much older than the oldest Blue Boy, his demands for order are not well met. More rude gestures from the boys, which TlakShik mistakes for symbols of friendliness and begins to immediately replicate to the best of his ability. This sets the guard into a shouting frenzy. He lowers his spear to a defensive position and begins to call for reinforcements from the nearby barracks.
TlakShik, Mallus, and Elric, you have time for one turn each before the reinforcements arrive, please roll initiative to determine who goes first and tell me what would each of you like to do?
Sorry, I am not getting any notifications of posts, is there a thread to join?

Tlak-Shik mentally tells the guard, "I am Tlak-Shik, I mean no one harm who does not wish to harm me. I am here to hunt a dragon."
Looking at the 'boys' he says in a click filled voice, "I 'click' you see, 'tlick' friend is being'" He hold his gythka loosely, in a non-threatening manner, thought the excitement amng the guards is causing him a bit of concern.
"Tlak-Shik hunting dragon, 'tchilc-tsick', be you helping?" His head swivel between the guard and the 'boys' causes his compound eyes to glitter like a fistful of gems. In a sign, for those who know anything bout Thri-Kreen, of his uncertainty, Tlak-shik rubs his 'child arms' together creating a buzzing vibration sounding somewhat like what a giant grasshopper might. He turns slightly so that he faces the city walls at a an angle.
