Ellaly was following Madik with the same spring in her steps she had since they left the broker - as gloom and scary as the surrounding was, it was still a long awaited adventure. Eventually, though, the dread of the place caught up with her too, her movements become less energetic and more careful.
When lightning revealed their destination in all it scary clarity, Ella moved a bit ahead. "Looks like we know where to go now. I'll keep an eye on the traps - the place is supposed to be treacherous, right?" explained she her actions, and squinted into the darkness ahead.

As the group approaches the fog, Madik’s heart fall’s, as it always does. She thinks of Cyre; and her parents; and her sister. But her step doesn’t falter. She marches onwards, towards to grey wall of mist.
Holding her shield up in front of her (as if her holy symbol could somehow repel the whispers and visions) she pushes on, through the gloom. And suddenly they’re through it!
Trudging onwards, she sees the silhouette of the huge gun on the horizon, just as Ella joins her. Maddie nods and smiles at the half-elf, “It’s true, our path is laid out before us now. But it is indeed treacherous...”. She rests her hand on her new friend’s shoulder for a second and speaks a prayer of guidance, “Be strong, Ellaly, and don’t let yourself succumb to the dread of these lands.” ((+1 to one ability check within 1 minute)).
Glad that Ella took the lead for a while, Madik looks at nothing other than the half-elf’s heels crunching through the mud and dust ahead of her, not wanting to look at the horror of her surroundings too closely just yet, while she attempts to steel herself...
Skrípi appears at home in the gloom and darkness, standing taller and crowing softly. He's not been here in quite some time. It's not a pleasant place, but it is still familiar. But it brings back memories... memories of a simpler time, when he felt so much lighter, so much more free than he does in this heavy body. Ah, well. The past is the past, and the present includes a giant gun. The present is much more interesting.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Madik is trudging forward, looking down, as Skripi catches up. Out of the blue, she looks up and says "I'm glad you're here Skripi...". She holds out her hand to them, "Could I hold your hand for a while?".
