TT looks up at them with anger at the loss of life already "You boys are out of your league here. The rest of your troop is either dead or captured. Best run along." Her eyes will flash green

The lead Ruffian pulls himself back a bit and says, "Right." Another says, "Hey, we're not causing any trouble. Right Vin?"
"Well then", Endure says, "Why don't you buy us a round and tell us about those other ingrates who were smearing your reputation earlier this evening?"
A third nods. "Yeah, we can do that. Boys let's show some hospitality, right? First rounds on us."
Cinnaess immediately notches a second arrow aiming for the cave entrance. She loosens her pull and starts forward.
(Elvish) "Mage, Are we heading into that cave? Smells foul even from here." (25 ft away)
She starts walking toward the cave circling slightly left, opposite of Wolfsong, to not be in direct shot from deeper in the cave and to be upwind of the stench.
((OOC: I might be losing track of time. Is it evening now? And dark? I suspect Robwin’s mage armor is either about to fade or already faded (8h). He would have cast it whenever they headed out in the morning. If so, he would have noticed and recast so I’ll remove another spell slot now, for that, anyway. Just to make sure it’s up and won’t fade mid battle or anything.
Also, since we stopped, and have been fighting and sneaking, would Rinn be near by now, or not? Would we be able to see or hear anyone coming? Is Lia close enough yet to be in contact?))
Robwin answers Cinnaess in a hushed voice (in common, for her and Wolfsong) “They have one of the townsfolk inside, I believe. We have to rescue them!... Hold on!....”.
Robwin will just quickly dash back behind the nearest tree that’s not in direct line-of-sight out of the tunnel, take out his glowing wand and jam it in the ground, leaving a couple of glowing inches showing. ((it’s okay, he has his hat and component pouch on him, so he doesn’t necessarily need the wand right now)). Ideally this would be really close to the tree so the glow isn’t too visible from the cave around the other side, but visible to anyone trying to catch up with them.
He’ll also cast minor illusion on the tree itself, and make the sound of a whisper in Robwin’s voice, saying over-and-over, for 1 minute: “We’re in the cave over there. Come in after us”.
He’ll then copy Cinnaess‘s movements and follow maybe 20ft after her and Wolfsong, into the cave...
((It was an hour after sundown when the party rolled into town. Then the hostilities started; time compression. It's probably not yet two hours after sundown. Longer mid-summer days; currently 10 Kythorn. Summer solstice is 20 Kythorn.))

Wolfsong looks to Robwin then to Cinnaess, "It is as he says they took at least two townsfolk into this cave, maybe more, and we do not know for what purpose. Smells foul, we best make this quick for the townsfolk's benefit as well as our own."
Wolfsong then begins to make his way into the cave as quietly as he can while keeping his eyes peeled for traps.

Rinn continues to run towards the light, slowing as he nears it and giving it a wide berth while he checks the surrounds (Stealth: 27 and Perception: 19).
