Caelynn shakes her head. "He's afraid of you, I don't know why. I've tried telling him that, but I doubt he believes me." She looks over her shoulder to where Stool is still scuttling around the room. "Why are you afraid of the others? Have they done something to harm you?"
Matias hidden in the shadows, emerges after listening to all that has been said, with hope on his mind he slowly sulkes into the crowd to offer his help. In a deep grainy voice, that permeates the air, "I am Matias, I couldn't help but here that you were planning an escape and if you wouldn't mind I think I could be of assistance, if it is okay with you I have been here so long time seems to fly and your mind begins to wander, I need to get out of here."
A bit struck by the comment in undercommon, Zack stands up and in regular Elvish says "No cousin, I'd sell myself for any of you if I had the chance. I'm not so sure about the other." Zack motions to the other Drow with his eyes to not seem obvious.

They cell Was getting livelier as more and more prisoners woke and joined the conversation. Alkanos himself was silent again, for the first time thinking about the possibility to escape this place. He had to admit to himself that for the past few days he had almost gave up on life. It was very. unlike him, he knew. The sorrow, the guilt, it had been to much.
'Is there a way out of here?', he asked himself. If there was, the Aasimar made the solmn promise to find it and make the drow pay for what they had done.
Listening to the group, Zack gets up and nods at Eldeth, then motions to Jimjar "Hey Jimjar, how much do you bet this group can get out?"
Zack makes his way over to Jimjar "How about my portion of food next time?"
Keeping his back to the group and trying only to face his little friend he scratches at his chest, flashing the gold coin to the gnome. "I bet we can make it, and I think you'll disagree. How about it? If I lose, you get my 'portion' anyway because they will most likely kill me. If I win, then I will leave it with you." Referring to the gold coin as his 'portion'
In truth, he planned on getting as many of them out as possible, even his brooding kin who refused to talk to them.
Zack looked over to Sarith and says "Usstan Detholar Dro" a phrase not often heard in Drowish meaning "I Choose Life"
"My momma said that strangers might eat me. Apparantly, we are delicious," Stool responds. He still doesn't quite seem to trust anyone but Caelynn.
Jimjar, seeing the flash of gold, says, "You make a hard bargain, but I'm all for getting out. I'm just a little skeptical of our chances of succeeding. The drow will notice that we've gone pretty fast. There needs to be some kind of distraction." He stops and thinks for a moment. " Tell you what, if we escape, I'll give you a platinum piece if we get our equipment, " he says with a wink.
Sarith raises an eyebrow at your statement as he says in Undercommon, "I'm assuming they are speaking of escape. They will fail. None escape fr---" his body spasms as he is wracked with a bout of coughing--- "from Velekynvelve." He pauses for a moment, looking at his fellow prisoners. " However, if they have a surefire plan for escaping, I... I will assist, " he says with a sense of finality.
Zack, make a perception check.
As this is happening, Eldeth suddenly says, "Shhh!" She nods her head towards the harder gate. A few seconds later, a disgruntled-looking drow guard comes into veiw. He says, "Bring me the bowls." He notices the group that has gathered and says with a suspicious look coming over his ebony face, " What are you doing? "
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aimon steps carefully away from Stool and walks to the front of the cell and speaks to the drow guard.
"Delicious as usual. Please pass my compliments to the chef."
Aimon tries to persuade the guard to engage in conversation, to keep him there long enough that Aimon can look him over to get an idea of any weapons, keys, tools that might be hanging off belts or pouches that might hide anything useful.
"This can't be a great job. Guarding the likes of us. Strong jawline like yours, you should be commanding raiding parties. Do any of the guards like being here?"
"I didn't ask for lip, darthiir. I asked for bowls," he commands with a look of disgust directed at you.
You can see that he appears to be one of the normal warriors. He has a chain mail armor that is made from some sort of black metal with red designs that are painted on it. He is resting one of his hands on a rapier on his belt. On the belt, there are a few pouches. He has an ornate cloak upon his back that almost seems to shimmer when he moves.
Caelynn stands, wincing as her muscles protest the movement. She walks around the cell collecting everyone's bowls, then passes them to the guard, barely holding back a snide comment. She figures it would just get everyone in more trouble.
Trill avoids speaking in front of the guards, and when she is forced to, makes sure not to use the voices of any of the drow or her fellow prisoners. If they know about kenku, it may not matter, but best not to remind them that she can mimic them perfectly.

After the guard collects their bowls and departs, Aimon whispers to the others.
”Well that’s someone lacking in job satisfaction.”
He looks at the two drow. “You know these drow better than the rest of us. What are the chances we can bribe or convince one to open that gate when no other guards are around?”
”If we can all get out at the same time, that may be our best bet. We could try to befriend our guards on the next work details and really look for who the weakest link is.”
Aimon thinks about the pouch the guard had.
”I might be able to add to our merger supplies if I can separate a few purses from their owners on the work detail too” He pauses. “I have some experience helping others shed their burdens.”
Alkanos wasn't sure if it would be easy 'befriend' one of their guards. Drow weren't known for their sociable characters after all. He addressed his fellow prisoners, "I don't know any drow personally but somehow I have serious doubt that we would be able to talk our way out of this." His shining blue eyes kept scanning for any drow approaching the cell. "We need to get our hands on some weapons. There are maybe twelve drow at this outpost. If we pick some of them of we might have a chance to overwhelm them or dissuade them from following us."

@Matias
You have been here for 5 days.
I reply, as seriously as I can, to the drow, "welcoming the newcomer into our humble abode."

You can use magical abilities outside of your cell, but some spells and abilities require spell components and/or focusses.
I believe bards need to use an instrument or spell components to cast spells. Technically, your voice.would count as an instrument.
