Kurma is briefly looking around, assessing the health of his companions. Around him, in the smelter room, he found several smith's tool. "With Oghma blessing, I could use these. I'll take one set " he thought.
In the middle of the room, Irommek is still glowing a faint light from Kurma's spell: "My friend, I can keep your shield up for a bit less than 10 minutes. We should use this extra protection and push on, no? "
"Yes, I believe pushing forward is the way to go. We didn't promise Musharib to clear his forge, we promised him to clear all of Hrakhamar from this firenewts. So I think, Brunella and I can ready our weapons, and Irommek opens the door to where the firenewt wanted to flee to and we continue room by room while we're all still able to fight!"
Gertrude walks up to the door next to Brunella while swapping her weapons around. She removes her shield and ties it to her backpack. Then she removes her Greataxe and readies it to swing it at anything that moves behind the door.
There is no one in here. The room seems to an armoury and indeed there are a lot of armours and weapons stockpiled. The firenewt haven't bothered most of them.
This chamber includes six each of battleaxes, greataxes, mauls, morningstars, war picks, warhammers, and heavy crossbows, plus two hundred crossbow bolts and four suits of dwarven half-plate armour.
Musharib is in awe, like a child checks everything. He decides that his inventory needs an upgrade and takes a battleaxe, a heavy crossbow and a fair amount of bolts.
Brunella looks at the discarded crossbow that Oniss set down. She picks up the eighteen pound instrument of war with one hand, as effortlessly as a child might pick up a small toy. She turns it around and over, looking at it curiously.
Brunella affixes the weapon to her waist with the attached straps, and grabs a case of bolts with it.
The last two rooms adjacent to the smelter are the forges.
Molten iron and adamantine from the smelter is hoisted into the northernmost of these two chambers, where it’s cast into ingots. Adamantine ingots were sent to the southern portion of the forge, where the massive stamping hammer in the centre of the room pounded out impurities. The pounding sound heard throughout the forge comes from this machine-driven hammer.
It seems that whoever was operating the forge left in a hurry.
Musharib:" BAH! The smith work these bastards are doing is just crap. "
Brunella opens the door to the west, in the bottom room.
In these chambers, the dwarves must have stored supplies of every kind, from food to leather aprons to protective goggles to parchment and ink. The firenewts seemed to have looted all of it. Now the chief features of these rooms are “nests” of ancient dwarven clothing, insulated gloves, and other padded material that the firenewts use as beds. The smell in this area is horrid, like burning hair mixed with burning rubber.

Brunella, figuring that Kurma's blessing is probably gone by now, tries to search the area and rooms for anything that might be hidden or out of sight. Felix! Do you see anything?
Irommek picks up one of the smith tools and smiles at the old familiarity and takes a set. Maybe forging in his retirement will be better than trying to find a ship to captain after this adventure is done...
In the next room, Irommek casually strips down and dons the Dwarven half plate armor and grabs a heavy crossbow and holsters it along with some bolts.
"I prefer my handaxes, but this baby will be fun to pin lizards to the wall with if they are out of my hammer's reach!"
Sticking his head into the chambers that Brunella is exploring, Irommek's smile fades into a scowl.
"Oh, that smell. Sorry about the mess Musharib. Maybe incinerate these rooms and start over again when you start cleaning up...I'm still feeling pretty good after Kurma's spell. Where to next Musharib? I'll charge in first and flush out any hiding geckos. I got the feeling that they are hold up somewhere. Too quiet in here. Other than the hammer equipment that is."

In the storage rooms, there is no one apparently, and an honest search by Kurma reveal that there is nothing of interest.
The hallway on the east side of the forge is featureless except for a heavy iron lever set into the north wall 20 feet from the door. The lever is in the down position and can be lifted easily. Currently, the walkway that would allow passing safely over the magma river is retracted.

"Hmmm" Felix will investigate the lever checking if it's connected to any trap of the sort. Once he finishes he will check if it may lead to a hidden area.
