The walls of this rubble-strewn corridor are carved with serpents, and arrow slits are spaced along them every 5 feet. Cobwebs fill the arrow slits and hang like drapes from the corridor ceiling. Above the entrance, a stone plaque bears a cuneiform message.
The presence of cowebs can tell that no one passed here in a very long time.
Felix detects the presence of three pit traps along the corridor. There is no clear way to deactivate the trigger or jam the trapdoor. One could simply jump past them, once they are marked.
There is no magic to be detected from the outside.
In the middle of the central room, a stone cube rests on a plain stone pedestal. Statues of twelve tribal warriors jut from the surrounding walls, aiming bows at the pedestal. The floor in front of the pedestal bears a mosaic depicting a monstrous serpent constricting a furious monkey. Moss obscures much of the detail.
Kurma senses illusion around the cube, not the usual abjuration aura.
The moss wasn't covering any critical detail in solving this shrine's puzzle, but Gertrude does notice two secret doors on the southern wall, one to the east side of the entrance, one to the west. Sliding the doors seems pretty easy and no trap appears evident.

“My friend, this one is different. It seems there is a illusion around the cube rather than the usual abjuration-defence magic. I would be careful.”
Then, shouting to the entrance. “Inete, I forgot to read the sentence engraved. What does it say ?”

Inete, after a few minutes consulting her notes, shouts back the translation to Kurma.
“Moa teaches us that secrets hide the truth.”
Felix will investigate the pedestal looking for a hidden compartment.

There is no secret compartment on the pedestal.
"I dont see anything maybe its looks more like a magic thing Kurma."

"Good eye Gertrude. Let's see what truth we can find in one of these hidden rooms."
Irommek steps cautiously into the east room and uses his dwarven vision to scan the room.

A large statue of a coiled serpent dominates the eastern, web-filled room. Clutched in the statue’s jaws is a stone cube.
There is no evident danger, according to Irommek's keen senses.
Kurma finally detects the abjuration aura typical of the puzzle cubes.
