Kurma joins Inete in the praying. "Should we burn them?"
Then looking at Musharib, "I would prefer you eat something else than turtle, I'm kinda attached to these creatures. I can try to get a few fishes if you want" Survival : 13 (8)
Irommek washes the gore and dirt from his shield and hammer and offers a drink of ale to his companions.
Putting his arm around Kurma, he thanks him for the fish and comforts him.
“Don’t worry lad. I’ve become quite fond of you and would not let Musharib make tortle soup of you or any turtle while we are on this quest. I’m sure he’s just having some fun with you. Besides, if it wasn’t for you and Inete, he may still be standing in the woods back there, frozen in place while the ghouls gnawed on him. I’ll continue to look out for my brother Dwarf, despite his stubbornness, but I have your back friend. Here, have some of my ale and we’ll drink to the fight won and more adventures still ahead of us!”
Brunella nods to Oniss and replies to him. "I agree with you Oniss. I don't understand the point of chasing undead in the jungle. We can also go chase dinosaurs, lizardfolk, and poisonous predators. We can spend years doing this. To what end?"
Regarding the roots, Brunella says. "This helps protect against small wounds in a fight, it clots your blood so you bleed less from a small cut. but never eat more than one a day or you will be very sick."
Few hours after dusk, Musharib propose to stop travelling and set camp for the night. A dense fog raises in the evening. The visibility is severely reduced.

After the fight, they all take a little rest, to talk about tactics and results. Gertrude also tends to her wounds (OOC: she is using one of her d12 to heal: 5)
When they arrive at their camp site for the night, Gertrude looks at the fog. She is trying to see if it has a blue tinge to it, like the towns people spoke about...
"I will take the last watch tonight. Kurma, take the one before me and wake me when it is my turn."
"I suggest we group two per watch. This way if we are caught by surprise there is a better chance that two can fight and wake the others, instead of being silently killed. Also we should have one person comfortable with hand to hand combat in each group. We can always use the same order each night so we have a clear understanding of our roles.
The night is dark but, this time, not full of terrors. No hungry monster comes at the camp. At dawn, the party is fresh and well rested, ready for another day.
Having spent part of the night trading stories and a few drinks of ale with Oniss, Irommek awakes ready to take on the day. Performing his new morning ritual, he once again strips down to his skivvies, lathers down in insect repellent and suits up. The chain mail is starting to feel more like his second skin despite the heat and humidity and his shield has doubled in the evening as a pillow or lean-to, sheltering him from the rain as needed.
Thanking Brunella, Musharib and Kurma for a breakfast of fish, lightly seasoned with berries and a healthy side of nuts and herbs, he helps load up the canoes and whistles an old sailing tune as they get ready to head out.

The fog seems natural, there is no blue shade.
"I'll take second watch. The short rest and few sips of ale have done wonders for my spirits."
OOC: During his watch, Irommek will also be keeping an eye out for the blue tinge in the fog
