I'm trying to get a fireball to hit both if them without hitting Gravity, but this is the beat I could do. I do not think it's possible but it's really close, so I'm just going to nudge the one and say it is. I'll calculate damage in a bit when I have a chance and see if anything is still alive.>
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Ok on the sphere- in 5e they really have kind of nerfed it to the point of uselessness, except for drilling holes and as a garbage disposal! For fireball, if there’s taller creatures, can always target the sphere above shorter ones.)

Fireball 4th level 22 Dex dc 19 half
At ahoulder their not much bigger than humans, they're more long than tall. It's possible, but they're really at the edge of the 40ft diameter, so you'd be counting on an aoe double heads hot they could avoid by just ducking. I think that would very enough to give them advantage on rhe drx save. Anyhow, I'm calling it in. Here's the saves:
Flaming blades slash at the second creature, as rhe first is also hit by a hail of arrows before finally being blasted by a (radiant? Only guessing because they so often are) Fireball, which also hits the larger catoblepas.
The creatures recoil at the attacks, but remain standing.
Gravity, make a DC16 Con save or be poisoned prior to the melee attack, rerolling rhe attack at DA on a failure due to being poisoned by his stench. The condition ends at the start of the creature's turn
Sam fells the first monstrosity with his new blade. The second flies into a rage and charges Tetrevess as he blasts the foul creature with a firebolt. It does not halt the creatures advance.
The raging bull stumbles midstride as Ana blasts it. it crashes into the marsh dead. all is still for a moment, them you hear a high pitched shriek from the east.

The cow slaps Gravity with her tail 15 for 26 bludgeoning damage. On hit, DC16 Con save or stunned until start of the catoblepas' next turn.
8 con save for tetrevess..
He takes 35 damage..
(Can he get both in fireball radius without hitting the party?
Ana keeps shooting arrows at the same monster, hoping to bring it down.

Gravity draws out the Flame Tongue Scimitar and utters the command word to activate the special effect as a bonus action. "Inferno!"
She will move towards the newly revealed bull and slashes at its tail once, then attempt to roast its hindside.

<Went to lookup spheres movement and noticed it was applied as a BA, ehich left me wondering what the actual movement rules for the sphere are. Based on this item: https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/134559/how-long-do-you-control-a-sphere-of-annihilation , it seems to be an action to move it 5x Int mod.
