(i dont want you to think you have to but from the look of things most people are going to the library and i think right now im the only one who has already made up there minds about going with the drow)
Weizol is resolved to wait until evening. When he is convinced his friend is not going to show, he looks to Vallen with grim determination. "He... Is not coming, is he. I will not abandon hope for our friend, I know he must be alive. Let us split up and search for clues... I will go with the ship to Luskan and continue to pursue the clue he left me."
(No, not everyone, but a lot of people do know he's here.)
"Omik,"He says, "What parts of what do we have to go through? And, yes, a pirate ship would love attacking my ship, as I recently forced them out of my city."
"Err, you know? Parts of faerun?"
"We shall not be venturing through Faerun," He says, winking his right eye, "We are going by it. We shall only be stopping in my beautiful city of Luskan."

The elf takes a moment to process this. "You.. Are a lord? Huh." He takes another moment with a blank look on his face. Really? A drow? If they do not worship the Spider Queen then perhaps...
"Well, alright. It can't be normal for a lord to try and find guards for his ship personally. Why bother instead of sending someone else?"
He gives a slight smile at this question, answering in a bright tone, "I do just love coming into Waterdeep on my own, and figured as I was stopping in the city, I might as well meet my new crewmembers on my own. I do prefer to know who I'm hiring before I hire them, you see?"

(Whoops, I forgot we weren't done with this part yet.)
Weizol comes to accept this supposed fact rather quickly, mainly due to the lack of outrage from the other people at this table. He surmises that it can't be that outlandish. "Very well. I have not decided whether or not I will take your offer but if I do, I will come to your shop before midnight."
"Does your boat need a shantyman?" Nipperkin chimes in.
"Need?" He responds with a question, "Do any boats have a need for shantymen? In my many travels, never have I gotten aboard a boat and immediately thought, 'This boat is in need of a shantyman.' So, no. We are not in need of a shantyman, but I am indifferent towards having one, as long as they help with other tasks and protect the cargo."

The cougar, seeing that others are offering to go with Jarlaxle, lets out a breath she did not realize she was holding. "As I have no experience being on the water, I would be of limited use to milord of Luskan."

I think Omik would tend to stay to the library, although it might be fun if someone drags him onto the boat. But currently, Crackling tower
(Gonna go with the Duke's murder~)
No Longer Active
Dukes murder. But I’m flexible if need be.

"Rhythm goes a long way when doing hard labor... But you don't look like the type to get their hands dirty." Nip says with a bit of playful jabbing.
"Oh, I am," He says, "Though I am a lord, I am very experienced in getting my hands dirty."

After sorting out the details of their communication with Vallen, Weizol would head towards Jarlaxle's ship.
