Lana sees Spirit laying there still as she fires a shot at the creature that is still attacking her beloved friend.

The troglodyte on top of Spirit gets an arrow in her neck and falls off the panther, stunned and bleeding out.

Spirit lays bleeding on the floor, unconscious and nearing death.

Jane leaps from the shadows, grabbing the troglodyte and trying to grapple the reptilian creature even as it thrashes around. It manages to wound Jane, slashing across her face with vicious claws, but it has been exposed to Aregarak's blade.

 Aregarak will seize the opportunity to separate its head from its body...

The scaly head rolls from its oderous body, and the last of the female troglodytes is dead.

“ If anything else is in there, it knows we are here now. We need to move quickly” Bel tells the others frantically then dips back into the darkness to wait for anything else to come out.

"Should we go kill the big sounding beastie?"

Bel:

To the north is a passage that runs parallel to the entrance you came through. You can hear heavy breathing, as if from a large beast, coming from the tunnel. A dim fire light can be seen at the other end of the tunnel as you quietly, stealthily approach.

Glowing coals in a crude hearth illuminate this large cave. The ceiling here rises about fifteen feet above the floor, and rubbish and skins cover the floor. A lizard the size of a small horse is currently eating the rotting carcass of some unidentifiable animal.  

From where you stand, it seems as if the chamber is strewn with trophies, including the skulls, bones, hides, and weapons of defeated foes. 

Lana smiles as she reaches down and pets Spirit "I am glad you are ok friend" she tells her as she checks her over. "I think we need to rest soon, my magic is depleted and we could all use some mending up" she tells the group. 

Aregarak agrees wholeheartedly that a rest is advisable 

Bel makes his way back to the group and tells them what he saw. “If we rest then it needs to be somewhere that thing won’t be able to get us while we rest” he tells the group.
