Ash nods. "It should offer more protection on the roads and I have had a few nasty run ins with bandits recently. I should have enough, but if not I could trade in my crossbow." He politely waits for Ebony to finish before emptying his gold pouch into his hand (10 gp).
After a bit, Ebony has removed his old Armor and donned the Studded Leather. “Ah, it’s a good fit! Thank you” He says handing over the old Leather Armor and takes the Three-section staff.
Ivory would go to reply, but remembering that Evas may not understand his words he would instead nod before looking down at the items he and Grumm were fixing. He cock his head and looks up at the two of them before looking back down and cocking his head the other way. He is trying to silently communicate his curiosity.

Kane notices that Ivory is trying to say something. “Is there something you want to say?” All of a sudden, he remembers something he read. The difference between chromatic dragons and metallic dragons. Metallic dragons were good and curious. Chromatic dragons were evil and vicious. Ivory was a white dragon. “Hey, Ivory, your not...evil, are you? I don’t think you are, but I remember something I read about dragons, with the chromatic dragons being evil and cruel.”
"I don't think Ivory's evil... Are you?" Evas walks to Ivory. "I think that means... You want to eat something? No, you are curious. That's a box of random objects that we just fixed. Some of the objects actually turn out to be magical! I wonder what they do..."
Ash sighs, then addresses Kane. "Evil is what we cannot change, combined with what we choose not to. It is a choice a choice, not an inherent trait of a given race. In the past, many chromatic dragons wreaked havoc on the land, but some were good. Unfortunately, those poor beasts did not go down in legend and many were killed by aspiring adventurers such as yourself."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Evas listens to what the young man says and smiles. "Sorry to butt in and no offense, but for a young man where did you learn such wisdom? I would expect to be hearing that from someone my age, not a youngling like yourself." He then mutters to himself about how that is inaccurate and it probably would be a person 3/8 his age. (Evas is old, very old.)
"Hmm, yes. Magic. That one I learned from Auntie Sween of the Upper Ruhk valley. I have some other magics as well. And I think you are right! This dragon is not evil - just curious." Grumm reaches down to try and scritch the back of Ivory's head.
“Si tir ti siofme si mi malsvir. Sva gekip si tir ti tuor ekess qe....,” Ivory says looking at Kane before spotting Ebony who overheard the conversation and walks over.
“I do not think I am evil. At least I do not want to be...,”
”I would kindly recommend being cautious about randomly asking others if they are evil. Some would take great offense to the question even if it was asked with innocent intentions,” Ebony says to Kane. “In the past, the great dragons were more....rigid in their philosophies due to tenets and influence of the eldest ones; Bahamut, Tiamat and Sardior, as well as the others in the Draconic pantheon. Though several dragons choose to go against there instincts and live free from the elder’s influences.....it was often easier to follow what came naturally. However, when the gods perished, the dragons found themselves free of those old natures. Now, dragons more diverse then ever before.”
Ebony pets Ivory’s head reassuringly. “The only thing you have to fear from him, is guilt tripping you into giving him snacks with his charm and puppy dog eyes,” Ebony says with a teasing chuckle, causing Ivory to huff out a bit of frosty mist through his nose in response.

Kane realizes that his question did seem rather rude. “Oh. I’m apologize for asking.” He rubs Ivory’s head, “This little guy can have my snacks any time. I only asked because of what I read. I have read that dragons are majestic creatures, but can be especially cruel as well.” He kneels closer to Ivory. “I do not think you are evil, I’m sorry.”
Evas tells Tay'zok he's finished and thanks him. He then checks out the cloaks and sees if any fit him. He buys the one that fits him and is the best quality. He hears what Ebony said and calls out. "Yeah I was thinking of heading there too, want a ride?"
Kane seems surprised at everyone wanting to join him. “Well, I guess the more the merrier. But that means less gold for me.” He smiles. “I’m joking.” He sees Evas offering a ride. “Do you know the way?” He is especially happy that Ivory and Ebony are coming.

As they talk of adventuring, Ash pipes up. "I don't suppose you have room for one more. I think you will find I am quite handy in a fight and these keepers may have the knowledge I have been searching for. Gods know that they don't have it here, nor in any library or shop anywhere I have been. No offence, this shop is very nice."

“This is my first time here in such a place, I’m still wrapping my head around most of what I’ve been seeing. Hell, we traveled into the city using Evas’s glass behemoth. I’m still reeling from that. Regardless, I don’t know where the Keepers would be, but Ivory and I would appreciate the ride.”

“Well, no harm no fowl. Now, I think I might head over to these Keepers you mentioned. Ivory and I were looking for some quests to venture on.”

“Yeah, that’s the problem. I don’t know where they are. Remember, I’m still new to this Material Plane. I guess we could ask around.”
