"It seems a fight is inevitable. I say we attack them, rather than leaving them to attack us. Probably less likely to get ambushed or surprised that way"

”I suppose I have a torch in my pack, but maybe the best approach is if I slice pieces off as you guys set fire to them,” responds Duncan, realizing he has no weapon that does fire or acid damage.

The crew had moved the ship longboat far away from the edge of the Ice, took an Iron pin from the base of the mast and gently lowered the pole to the ground. They turned the hull to its side to shelter from the wind, and from the seen sea trolls eyes A campfire now exists inside the tarp of the shelter.
"Of course. It is in everyone's best interest including ours to keep your our boat safe. But I think my friends and I might first take a short trip over there to take out those Trolls before they try and ambush us" says Gryrig, waving vaguely in the direction of the Trolls
Azzure nods and says “Certainly, we will help you keep watch. I have keen eyes in the dark.” He takes one of the watches, with someone else, one of the crew members to help with listening. They help each other through the shift.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
”Let’s head over there and see how the scrags react, Gryrig. I’d rather be awake with armor on and a blade in my hand fighting these creatures than having to scramble out of bed,” agrees Duncan.
Once on the ice, he starts walking over towards the beasts.

Azzure follows on his broom, ready to scout the area. “Perhaps let’s approach from some height so they cannot throw things at us and there will be less of a chance of being seen.”
Seeing his companions on their Brooms, Gryrig realises that this is a good idea and similarly mounts his. He will try to fly at some height above where he thinks a troll could try to claw him, but close enough that he can dash down to attack them. Say 30ft height
As the others take to the sky, Torman grabs his own broom in one hand somewhat awkwardly and begins to ascend, lagging a little behind while he wonders what the trolls will make of their approach. Perhaps the sight will frighten them into fleeing, he hopes.
