"Oh? Really? Just a benevolent floaty friend, aren't you? That's... Well, that's right generous of you. If you're sure there's nothing we can do to thank or help you... I suppose we should get moving again. Thank you again... and..." Mist trails off as he takes the items, frowns thoughtfully, and shrugs with bewildered shake of his head. He turns and heads back to the door.
(I assume Aubric's detect magic is lighting up with these trinkets, right?)
Gintarou was quite surprised and confused when Rojaros kissed him on the cheek. He was too fascinated by the wonder surrounding him and , unusual for this giant, barely tastes the food he puts in his mouth. But when the conversation reaching it's conclusion, he hastily takes compass out and sees if it indicates the castle.
As the items are pulled out they immediately pull Aubric's attention. He will move over to where Mist is holding the items. Thinking for a moment Aubric will hold off identifying the items till they are ready to take a long rest, at which point he will use what ever remaining spell slots he has left to cast identify on the items.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven's interest is peaked when he sees the creature pull items out of some clouds, and then will randomly stick his feather hand into the walls or floors around him or any other floating cloud around him in the hopes of pulling something out. He will trey to do this when no one is looking.

(Don't forget, you can cast it as a ritual as well!)

"Well that was an interesting diversion," Druquilla comments once they leave the castle. "I still feel they may be connected to the troubles with those cloud golems, but for now our concern should be the star fragment, where to now Gintarou?"
You all continue making your way up, till you find yourselves nearing a solid bank of cloud that blocks all visibility about 60 ft. overhead. This is the perpetual layer of cloud that prevents anyone on the ground from seeing further up the Spur. You have reached the true lowest levels of the Overbright. Creatures that pass all the way through the Overbright are said to be able to enter the glittering expanse of the Astral plane itself.
Passive Perception of 14 or higher
You detect faint, rhythmic reverberations resonating through the stone.
At this point, the exterior of the Spur becomes impassible. No ledge or climbing trail continues further up the sides, which now resemble sheer, smooth stone. Fortunately, a deep cleft leading to a cavern can be seen just up ahead. The cleft opens into a tall, narrow cavern - 15 ft. across and 30 ft. tall. At the top of the cavern, a 5 ft. wide shaft, clearly shaped by living hands, seems to exit into a room above.
DC 12 Athletics to climb, you can make it at advantage if you have a climber's kit.
" Having a flying scout is really convenient, isn't it? " Gintarou watches Kraven flying up to the shaft with a hand axe in one hand and rope in another. He will throw the hand axe if something appears from the shaft and attacks Kraven. And if Kraven finds no immediate threat, he will hand the rope and ask his featherly friend to tie it somewhere above.
"Yeah I guess so. I've got an invisible one that I'd much rather send into harm's way but I'm glad Birdm'n is willing to jump in and get it done without all the backtalk," Mist quips. A quiet snarl and muttering that sounds like profanity in an unknown tongue comes from behind the party back near the entrance of the cave.
Suddenly a loud squawk can be heard coming from the shaft as Kraven comes flying out of the it in fright. "Cloud creature up top, almost grabbed me, prepare for fight."

I'll say it's still up when he pulls the items out of a cloud, and yes they are.

(Any info on what school(s) of magic the items are enchanted with? I suppose we could just ask Aubric nicely to throw some identify on them later...)

(XD no worries! We'll get it figured out soon enough!)
Mist heads back to the road unless someone or something stops him.
Is there anyting else you all would like to do or are we ready to keep moving and take our last long rest?

( Gintarou checked compass at post #1848. If it points at the outside of the castle, Gin will follow Mist)
My bad the compass is not pointing at the castle.

You all take a long rest, the potions are elixir of health, and the ring is a ring of spell storing

Kraven places a feathered hand on the ground then whispers out, "Land has a beating heart, be careful of surroundings. Let me go check out shaft."
Then Kraven will fly up the shaft very slowly and peak over the edge when he gets to the top.
