Ava will try to be situated in the middle of the group
As they set off, Ava is all smiles. As she sways lightly in her saddle she starts humming an old ship song, "hmm.... leave her Johnny leave her..... hmmm...."
Confident and filled with an eagerness to get underway Tom will march towards the front of the group. He looks behind as Ava sings, "Who's this 'Johnny' fellow? In time they shall sing songs of our great deeds."
Tegid while not a strong leader will be somewhere near the front. Hopefully his ability with maps and the land may come in handy in navigating the group (OOC Outlander Background)
"Duradin, possibly I may be of some assistance to you in finding a way if you require. Sometimes, two sets of eyes are better then one"

Tegid thinks about responding, but deciding that this is probably just Duradin being grumpy about his company, decides to not poke the bear, and just nods.

Ava smiles at Tom, "Oh tis no one, a song some of my old mates sang upon the ocean." As Duradin asked the group, she turns around excitedly, "Oh, I am from the ocean. I spent most of my days searching for treasure. On one such search I gained these abilities."
Duradin raises an eyebrow at that. "So... your powers come from... gold? What, coin? I hope you don't mind my saying how that's a funny way of going about it. I've known a few of the court's sorcerers and wizards - first rate, they are - but none have mentioned suddenly acquiring magics. Well, I suppose that's not quite true: Master Harlan the Black once told of such a tale, though it's said he never speaks of his past except when sober, which is as frightening as it is rare."
Vor, looking very unhappy, teeters atop his mount as if he were a bug on wind blown grass. “How anyone would wanna endanger their self on one of these is beyond my Ken.”

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
He listens to everyone judging what information they are giving.
At Duradin's question, he smiles. "I'm from the ocean too, but under it." He takes off his hood revealing his deep blue skin and silver hair. On the side of his neck are gills.
Tom looks curiously at Ash's gills, eye's wide in amazement,"Amazing, truly... Can you breathe underwater?" He looks contemplatively, "That said, I am very much an Autumn child... The trees, the colours, the sights and smells. The ocean is not for me. No sir."
"Oh it was not the coin that granted me my powers but what I found inside," Ava says as a decidedly creepy smile creeps across her face. Glancing around the road to make sure there is no one else around, her once empty sleeve where her arm should have been suddenly is filled by a long tentacle appendage that glows slightly in an ethereal light. "I touched the void and it reached back."
Upon seeing Ash's gills, Ava laughs a hearty laugh, "You would have been very handy on our ship. We made many a deal with your people to aid us in accessing some ruins."
Tegid takes some time to compose his response "I come from a simple village, however have been wandering for some time from clan to clan, serving each clan for a time until it was time to move on. I have spent a fair time just out in the wilds, searching. Really the years have just rolled over, and I have lost track of the actual years since my home was taken from me"

"Up ahead the roads might turn rough, if this rain continues. Pray to your gods that it stops soon - I don't relish a long slog through the mud, with only the thought of a dragon's fiery breath to warm my innards on the path ahead."
"You raise a good point... Weather such as this can only hinder us." Tom sighs as the rain started to fall. He looks around attempting to get a feel for the general lay of the land; whether there is any shelter from the rain, the condition of the path, any landmarks, that sort of thing.
Ok. You ride out of the hold the next morning. What's your marching order? (Single file)

After about an hour of riding, Duradin breaks his sullen silence. "So... Where do you hail from?"

As noon approaches, a light rain begins. The day is cool, but not uncomfortably so, and a gentle breeze ruffles your hair.
