That only got you the sourcebooks that had been released as of Oct 16 2019; MotM came out in 2022. But you can purchase MotM at the Bundle discount price.
Yeah, thanks - that came to me last night as I was falling asleep. Appreciate the confirmation - although I hate the answer.
I have to say, I hate that they do that. The bundle changes over time - but according to the Marketplace, I "already own" it, so no, actually, I can't purchase it at the discounted price. I can only buy each book individually. (I just triple-checked. The Sourcebook Bundle page says "You already own this", and if I add it to my cart, it's full price, and I can only choose to buy it "as a gift".
But I *think* I see what you mean - when I go to the MotM page, it says it's $3 off, and "Discounted for owned content". I don't own any of the monsters or the magic item, so I can only guess it's due to the sourcebook bundle, so I guess that all adds up.
This is stupid and unnecessarily confusing.
Whatever - at least I understand now. Thanks again - appreciate you Naruhoodie.
Hey, I'm probably just confusing one thing or another but I'm having a small issue with the book's content showing up when creating a character. So a friend of mine that I'm in a campaign with has a master subscription and so can share content and shared the Monsters of the Multiverse but although I have access to in that I can read through the book and access the monster stat blocks and such when I go to create a character it doesn't show up as a source. This was kind of disappointing as I was hoping to experiment with the races in the book so I was hoping that this could clear up what's happening. Is it a glitch or am I misunderstanding what a master subscription does? Thanks for any help providable.

Is the character you are trying to build in the campaign that your friend turned on sharing for? If not, there's your problem: it must be in the campaign which has content sharing on.
-Necrotic Shroud: Shows the Bonus Action listed with the correct numbers. -Radiant Consumption: Shows the Bonus Action listed with the correct numbers. -Radiant Soul: Was added before dropdowns were used to activate certain features. Doesn't automatically activate flight speed. Not difficult to know when you've activated it as a player considering it only lasts for 1 minute.
Reach to the Blaze: Shows up correctly. Correctly calculates stats. Just doesn't use 2024 versions of spells because it came out before the 2024 content did.
(I still think old species should get a toggle to use the updated versions of those spells, with the default being 2014 versions, since you use the updated version RAW if you're playing any 2024 content.)

Agree, though I'm not sure about the default part. Ideally, there would be a character-wide toggle between 2024 and 2014 rules that would apply to everything, including this.

That would be far more difficult that adding an optional feature that replaces the spellcasting feature with an identical one that has the updated spells. For simplicity's sake, the easiest solution for the coding team is the most practical suggestion. A character-wide toggle like that requires every single spell to be linked in a database between old and new versions.
No, my issue is that Flame Blade wasn't showing up correctly when I reached the correct level. Had to change my race and change it back to correctly populate

Some of the updated races arent showing up. I'm only seeing the legacy version for some of them.

I know this is an old page, but Reach to the Blaze and Celestial Revelation are still not working correctly in DnD Beyond

ModeratorWhat's the issue with Reach to the Blaze? It seems to work correctly as far as I can tell.

I think they're convinced that it should be non-Legacy versions of the spells and/or they might be having issues with selecting the stat.
Otherwise I have zero clue.
