When you hit a target with the Figure Guns attack, you can expend one Risk Die as a Bonus Action and add it to the damage roll."
This is poor wording, firstly, "Finger Guns". Also Finger Guns is already a bonus action so it doesn't make sense to specify the risk die addition as a bonus action aswell, its confusing.

Finger Guns is like Shillelagh. Where its a Bonus Action to cast, but not to use. You cast Finger Guns as a Bonus Action, to give yourself a way to attack, other than with a weapon as an Action. ITs not I cast Finger Guns as a Bonus Action and shoot something.
Which is why it says you can expend a Risk Die as a bonus action to Boost Finger Guns's damage
Thanks! Next question, should the Archery fighting style be applying a +2 to hit for finger guns seeing as it counts as a simple ranged weapon? Also as mentioned in several posts before, modifiers are being added to the Revolver and other guns when they shouldn't, due to the firearm property.
Rules-wise, yeah, Archery should apply. As far as DDB goes, however, you'll probably need to manually apply that bonus. You can click the spell on your sheet, open the Customize section in the sidebar, and put a 2 in "To Hit Bonus".

ModeratorYeah, since that's a PHB weapon (that was simply reprinted in TGC), you'll find it among the PHB masteries instead.

Yep, apparently I have the reading comprehension of a toddler. Thanks for the clarification.
