Hello! Please note the following release notes from this thread's introductory post:
Dragonmark variants/subraces - there are 13 of these presented in Chapter 1. All of them have a racial feature named, "Spells of the Mark" that adds spells to the character's spell list, if that class has spellcasting or pact magic. We haven't been able to model that correctly at this time, but will implement as soon as we are able to.
I was trying to convert him from UA to the official after release. Switched to half-orc thinking maybe it was trying to go from mark of finding UA to mark of finding was the problem.
Then i tried just recreateing the char & got tge same error message when i chose mark of finding as my race
That is interesting! I was unable to recreate the effect, and I don't see anything else on your sheet that may be introducing any issues. Do you get this error when selecting any other "Mark of" races, or just the Mark of Finding? What device/browser are you using? Thank you so much!
I'm running a Mark of Finding Druid, and I just got to level 6. The 3rd level spell clairvoyance is not in my known spells list, even though it should be one of the Spells of the Mark. I double checked and at level 7, the 4th level spell divination is also not on my list of known spells even though it is also one of the Spells of the Mark of Finding. All the other spells for the mark of the finding are Druid spells, so they're on my list already, but spells I get specifically because of my mark aren't showing up.
Also, are the spells of the mark supposed to always be prepared or do I just have access to them? They aren't currently always prepared, but I wasn't actually sure if that as a bug or not.

Eberron: rising from the last war has been since November 19, but no hate to DnD Beyond developers it's taking along time for the Dragon marks to be working. I just want some form of a estimated time for it to come out.
I'm not exactly certain if this is a bug or I'm just not understanding the rules right. I'm multiclassing (for the first time) as a Level 3 Artificer/Level 1 Wizard.
My understanding of the rules, and what DNDBeyond is showing is that I then have 4 Lvl 1 slots and 2 Lvl 2 slots. However, for some reason, DNDBeyond is not giving me the ability to prepare or learn any 2nd level spells. It gives me the option to cast 1st level spells at second level, but when I attempt to add spells it only shows me cantrips and 1st level. I thought you're supposed to be able to prepare/learn spells of any level for which you have slots.
Is this a bug or am I not understanding some nuance of the multiclass rules?

Hello!
Your spell slots are derived from your combined class levels, however the spells you know come from your class. You can use those 2nd level slots to cast 1st level spells, but until you reach either Artificer level 5, or Wizard level 3, you will not be able to learn any 2nd level spells.

Yep just tried with another few marks everyone gives me an error.

Thank you! Can you try the following:
- Log out of your D&D Beyond account. - Clear your browser's cache. - Ensure you are not using any extensions / start a private browsing session to try accessing with no extensions. - Log back in, and try to use one of these races.
Please let me know if that helps at all. If not-- If you have access to these races through content sharing, have the owner of the master subscription turn sharing off, and back on again as one another thing to give a try.

While you have access to 2nd level spell slots, 3rd level Artificers and 1st level Wizards do not have access to 2nd level spells. A different way to say this is your spell slot level is based on a combination of your chosen classes, but your spell list access is based on each individual class, separate from the other classes chosen.

Spells Known and Prepared. You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class. If you are a ranger 4/wizard 3, for example, you know three 1st-level ranger spells based on your levels in the ranger class. As 3rd-level wizard, you know three wizard cantrips, and your spellbook contains ten wizard spells, two of which (the two you gained when you reached 3rd level as a wizard) can be 2nd-level spells. If your Intelligence is 16, you can prepare six wizard spells from your spellbook.
Each spell you know and prepare is associated with one of your classes, and you use the spellcasting ability of that class when you cast the spell. Similarly, a spellcasting focus, such as a holy symbol, can be used only for the spells from the class associated with that focus.
You know/prepare spells as if single-classed. You add all of your wizard levels and half your artificer levels (rounded up, which is unique to the artificer) together and then consult the Multiclass Spellcaster table to figure out what spell slots you have, but that doesn't affect what spell level you can learn or prepare. As the next part of the multiclass spellcasting rules says about spell slots:
If you have more than one spellcasting class, this table might give you spell slots of a level that is higher than the spells you know or can prepare. You can use those slots, but only to cast your lower-level spells.
You can use your 2nd-level slots to upcast your 1st-level artificer spells or 1st-level wizard spells, but you don't have any 2nd-level spells known or prepared as a wizard 1/artificer 3.

edit: nevermind. i dont have eberron last war the dm does and i just had to add the character to the campaign to have the option to make artificer. a bit counterintuitive but it works as intended i suppose/.
I am trying to add the "Repulsion Shield" to the inventory of one of my PCs and even though they have it as an infusion I can't find it in the available equipment to add to the PC. Not sure what I am missing on how to do this. They are a LVL 10 Artificer and had it on their sheet before under UA and I just can't figure it out.

The location of infusions on the sheet has moved. It's in the Equipment section; scroll down, or click the dedicated Infusions tab. You can see where it's located in this clip from one of DDB's dev updates: https://twitter.com/DnDBeyond/status/1197653419302903808
The greater dragon marks do not currently seem to show up in the feats at all. They show up as general search results but then show an error 404 when I click that result.

The greater dragonmarks were playtest that didn’t make the final cut. Badeye has recreated them as homebrew. If you have a subscription (hero or master), you can add them to your own collection for use.
The Battlesmith's Steel Defender is calculating skills by adding the creatures proficiency bonus, the creature's attribute modifier and the Artificer's proficiency bonus.
These should be set to a base of 2 plus the Artificer's proficiency bonus according to the stat block in the class features..
