Just chiming in that I'm also getting the "change your +2 stat only" glitch for Lightfoot Halflings. Toggling the new settings on allows me to swap out the +2 Dex, but there's no option to swap out the +1 Cha.
Thanks for all the incredibly hard work you're doing, and under so much pressure! I can't even imagine how complicated the coding is when Tasha's effectively overwrites all the basic assumptions that went into the design. Ooof! There's no such thing as taking too long on this one. We get it, and we appreciate it.
Tasha's Cauldron of Everything has been updated on D&D Beyond! There's now support for new Optional Class Features, Customizable Origins, limited use by proficiency bonus features, and the mobile app has been updated!
Thanks for the update, but this does not allow us to change the subrace bonus like the book states, only the main race bonus.
Please advise.
It should work, though you will see two separate options in the builder, one of the main race and one for the subrace. If you are still seeing this issue can you tell us what specific race and subrace you are using?
Currently none of the Halfling sub-races I have tried allow me to pick the second ASI. Lotusden, Stout and Lightfoot are the three I have tried so far. I only see one option in the builder that replaces the main +2 the Race gives with no option to change the +1 ASI given by the subclass. In the case of the Stout Halfling, the +1 Constitution is not even listed in the Racial Traits section, despite being added on the Ability Score page when calculating totals. This has been the case for a while now and I assume it is not intended.
Aasimar also have this issue. They are able to modify the +2 main race bonus, but not the sub-race +1 (Fallen/Protector/Scourge).
All the elf sub races I have tried have this same issue also. I am starting to think it may be all sub races doing it based on others testing
Currently able to adjust the +1 Int from being a Gith, but not the +2 Wisdom from being a Githzerai. Very similar issue to other's listed here, just wanted to make sure Gith were accounted for as my new character is a Githzerai. :)
When I enabled the optional features and optional origins for a level 7 fighter, it removed my choices for the ability score improvement at level 4 and level 6. I had selected an ability score improvement for level 4, and a feat for level 6. Both had been reset.
Sorry if this has already come up but forgive me for not reading 10 pages.
I'm able to activate the optional class features in the character editor of my players in my campaign but when I go to do it on my own characters (or the one deactivated character in the campaign) it says I don't own them. Help?
You have to select the Optional Class Features on every individual character. You also need to go in and select which class features you are using on each character.
The Origin Ability Score Increase doesn't seem to be working properly for non-Asmodeus tieflings, such as the Glasya tiefling. I check the box to enable it, but the ability score increase remains the same. Similarly, with subraces like the wood elf or scourge aasimar, the ASI from the main race is changeable, but the bonus from the subrace is not.
Druid, Circle of Stars, says this under Star Map ability: "You can cast guiding bolt without expending a spell slot. You can do so a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest." But it shows guiding bolt as only having 2 uses when my Circle of Stars Druid is level 13 and has a +5 proficiency bonus. The description says I can do it 5 times, but only has two uses under the spell tab and for the check boxes under the ability.
Question tashas comes with the updates to kobolds and orcs for ability scores. Does this reprint them and they come with tashas or do you still need volos to play kobold/orc?
Correct, however having done that under the optional class features manager is says I have none available despite owning all of Tasha's
I'm getting the same problem. I'm also seeing the issue of only being able to switch around one starting ASI and not both. This one is for Mountain Dwarf.

I am having this issue as well.
Same: I'm trying to give my druid the Wild Companion feature and have everything activated and I preordered Tasha's guide, but it claims I don't have the class features ordered

World Builder with a habit of making odd world building Magic items.
The ability to customize the racial trait bonuses to ability scores is still a little off, while it is up and running, on my Protector Aasimar character I can only change their +2 to Charisma to be anything else, but their +1 to Wisdom is still forced to be used for that ability score. Please fix this as soon as you can. Thanks!
Hello! I found a couple issues. First is that the sorcerer optional feature (for additional spells) calls itself a bard feature, second is that it appears the Eberron houses cannot do the custom origins beyond the languages (so ability scores and proficiencies)

No option to change the ASI for Bugbears either.
I have a question. I bought a physical copy of the book at my local shop. Can I get the DND Beyond content or do I have to get that separately?

I think, anyway.
Dragonmark Human subraces (such as Mark of Finding) is not allowing for the ASI or languages change.
Fey Wanderer magic spells are still not showing up on the character sheet.
Primal Awareness is listed as an additional feature rather than a replacement feature.
You would have to buy it on DNDBeyond to own it on DNDBeyond

The "Additional Sorcerer spells" feature says "1st-level bard feature".
The "Metamagic Options" feature says it's both 2nd and 3rd level. It should only be available starting at level 3.
Humans (+1 to each skill) shouldn't be able to change that at all.
Cleric's optional feature "Blessed Strikes" has a formatting error in its description (<strong>).
The "Harness Divine Power" cleric feature has an error in its snippet (no level scale data available).

The steady aim optional class feature is not showing up for my rogue.

I've bought Tasha's guide and have everything activated.... But I can't actively access anything?
