@LurkyTheHatMan you can accept this 10 month delay between the last update and now if you wish but sorry. The current state of the code base matters not if NOTHING has been shown as work for 10 months. Bugs don't matter. What Wizards wants does not matter. The fact is it has been TEN months since anything from Tasha's has been put into D&D Beyond.

While my own writing is more civil than Faelar's, I am as unhappy.
There have now been multiple years for them to crack the spell substitution subclasses (as UA was developed until recently), and respect should be a two-way street. We've received no comms about it, the Trello board was removed without an equivalent replacement.
I too am unhappy with this aspect of the service provided with the company, but not using them isn't really a solution given that I've already paid for Tasha's with them.
As interim steps, we really need:
1) Prominent notation to anyone buying Tasha's on D&DB that major portions of the content are not functioning 2) Active communication on timelines (both way not yet done, and when will be done) with more detail 3) For those that have bought Tasha's, an equivalent rebate for that portion of the content (probably about £4 each)
SOURCE TOGGLES. Note that some of the subclasses presented in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, have been previously published in other sourcebooks, such as Mythic Odysseys of Theros. On D&D Beyond, content is primarily sourced to the first sourcebook where it appeared. This means for subclasses such as Bard: College of Eloquence, or Paladin: Oath of Glory, you will need to enable the source toggle for "Magic: the Gathering Content" to use these subclasses.
This is confusing for users, especially for anyone who participate in games that exclude MTG material - including Adventurers League games. Toggling all MTG to permit a subclass sort of defeats the purpose of the toggle. FWIW, knowing what is the first sourcebook should not be an expectation for users either.

Yeah and meanwhile there is no way to turn off acquisitions incorporated stuff at all and it's on by default....
My thoughts on the whole Tasha's thing is that the problem is that they're selling an incomplete product (and without telling consumers before they purchase it).
I'd write a lot more, but I've done that several times before and I am just growing tired and frustrated of it all. I'll leave it at that. That statement should speak for itself. Period.

I can accept that this particular source book hasn't had visible put towards it, since I am fully aware that there are multiple projects on-going. With my background in SQA, I am intimately familiar with the concept of picking your battles, especially when it comes to a project of the magnitude of D&D Beyond.
Am I frustrated that certain features haven't been implemented? Yes.
Am I also aware that the developers are humans, and deserve to be treated with respect, which comments such as yours seem to be lacking? Yes.
Would you rather they spend all of their time implementing features from one source book, without regard to how it will affect future sources, or bug fixes? Especially considering that such an approach will make it harder to implement new features?
Besides, 10 months is nothing. One of the products my company put out took 3 years to finally implement all of the features slated for first release.
Finally, if you are unhappy with the service provided with this company, you are free to not use them.
Maybe don’t offer it for purchase before you do usability testing, maybe? Just a thought. And ten months is not nothing. It’s almost a year of people purchasing a product that doesn’t function as intended.
When you copy a character, none of the additional spells from Tasha's that you may have added to your Spells Known, Spellbook, or Spells Prepared are copied over. You are forced to go in and reselect them.

I can confirm this, and also that it applies to any spells granted from an Additional Spell List given via a background or class feature. Basically any spell with the little "plus-in-circle" before it in Manage Spells.

TBH I don't believe this at all feel more like laziness.
Do you know the current state of the code base?
Do you know the current projects that are in progress to implement the new material as required by Wizards on the Coast?
Do you know the extent of the bug list?
Are you intimately familiar with all of the potential interactions between the different sections of the site that would be impacted by implementing any one of the outstanding features?
Do you know how to implement even one of the outstanding features, either in the current codebase, or in the updated codebase that the team are working on?
If you can answer yes to even one of those questions, then you are already employed by D&D Beyond, and know why these outstanding features are still outstanding, and thus have no need to speculate on the forums.
If you can't answer yes to any of those questions, you are not qualified to make a judgement as to why the features are still outstanding.
Could it be "laziness"?
Could it be that such features are not only vastly more complex than you imagine them to be, but implementing them is an additional order of magnitude of complexity on top of that?
Could it be that the contract they have with WotC requires them to publish the new content at the same time as the books are released, and thus when there is new content to implement, it takes priority over features and bug fixes that haven't been implemented yet?
Well if they updated us (the people who already bought a product that was not advertised as incomplete with no plan for full implementation) about ANY plans for adding features of a book that came out over a year ago then they wouldn't have people rightfully upset on their forums. What, do you think the lack of communication means that they're keeping it a secret that they'll fully implement the book in 2 weeks?
Regardless of when (or if) they fully implement these features, the lack of communication about ANY of it is a shady business practice and an overall shitty move.

I will admit that I do not know much about the current codebase but with my experience with coding the site has issues if this is something they can make with a year time.
Again about 75% sure of what the issues could be but that means the backend of the site is in huge disarray.
Yes I could with access to the information I need I could probably fix it but I don't work for free or think WOTC would pay me what my current job pays.

Seeing as how WotC doesn’t own or operate DDB, I really don’t think that last part is gonna matter much.
The Steel Defender still list the info from the non-errata version from Eberron: Rising of the Last War. It also incorrectly list Basic Rules as its source.
Homebrew is turned off, and the spells cannot be removed or unprepared. I get this error when I try to remove Pulsar Ray, the only one with a remove spell option:
Someone else in the campaign has those homebrew spells, and they're set to automatically be available/prepared for the CoS druids. Ask around in your campaign, and ask whoever has them to change their settings on those spells.
You were correct! They were another player's homebrew. Still seems like a bug that another player's homebrew would appear on a character's sheet with homebrew turned off.
Hello, hope this is the right place to report this.
In the app version, Summon Fey still has class tag that was a leftover from Summon Fey Spirit. The book version listed the right classes that has access to the spell, but when I click the spell in the app and was brought to the spell detailed info, it lists far more class.

For what it's worth, they did get the Eldritch Adept invocation options working right for those with Warlock levels who meet additional prerequisites: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/87774-tashas-cauldron-of-everything-issues-and-support?comment=3019

So did I miss something? Is the Steel Defender and Homunculus servant fixed for the Artificer and Battlesmith yet? It has been more then a year...
