If you want to use the 2024 Warrior of Mercy subclass, then yes, you need to get the 2024 PHB, and you need to select the 2024 Monk class.
If you want to use the 2014 Way of Mercy subclass, then you’ll need to get TCOE, enable both 2014 Core Rules and Expanded Content for your character, and select the 2014 Monk class instead.
Going on 5 years now and you still haven't fixed the Sorcerers subclass issues. If you aren't going to bother providing a tool that works please refund my money.
Eldritch Adept does not interact correctly with 2024 rules
It's a 2014 feat from a 2014 book and was not updated to 2024 rules.

Hello! I have seen two mentions of it already in the thread but I did not see any solutions to the issue with Pact of the Talisman not appearing. Yes I am a level 3 warlock, yes I have enabled optional features, and I have indeed selected all four boxes under sources to be enabled. I am able to see other options from TCoE when building my character but I am pretty new to using D&D beyond, so it could be user error still. Any updates on when this will be fixed or what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!

Use 2014 Warlock if you're after Pact of the Talisman. It's one of the invocations that hasn't made the jump to 2024.
When you use the Artificer's Homunculus Servant infusion, the Homunculus Servant entry that is created in Extras still has incorrect scaling on the following: DEX save bonus, Perception bonus, Stealth bonus, Challenge/CR, Force Strike to-hit bonus, Force Strike damage bonus. The stat block also still includes the "Might of the Master" entry that isn't in the published rules for Homunculus Servants, and also isn't mathematically equivalent to the published rules for the Homunculus Servant. (... because the Perception bonus is supposed to be double the character's PB.)
This has been mentioned before in this thread. It's pretty wild that this still hasn't been fixed nearly 5 years after publication.
Pretty sure they've given up on fixing anything in this book relating to the digital character builder. There's so many reported issues here and in the bug tracker that are completely untouched.
Weekly bump that shit's broken. Still don't have my Oath spells from my subclass.

Is there a particular reason the optional rules/features from TCoE do not work with 2024 in DNDBeyond?
The optional class features from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything were designed for the 2014 classes. Some of them (such as the Rogue's Steady Aim feature) have been incorporated into the 2024 classes; others haven't. The 2024 classes aren't intended to make use of the latter.

Things being stuck in a backlog =/= backwards compatible in the sense it is used in DND.
