The Custom Lineage option shown in the sidebar of the chapter can be supported using the existing homebrew race creation tools, which allow you to create any race you like!
Will this be the only option for Custom Lineage? You already responded to my question on page 51 and today I found this. Idk I find it difficult to use the homebrew creator.
I looked through the physical copy of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything recently and found that the Blade of Disaster spell from Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden was in it. However, when I checked the D&D Beyond marketplace, I found that Blade of Disaster wasn't included in Tasha's, and could only be accessed by buying ID:RotF. Was this intentional?
Blade of DisasterIS granted as part of purchasing Tasha's, as per chapter 3 of that book. You're looking at individual purchases.
D&D Beyond allows you to purchase individual content from a sourcebook. This system was implemented, as Badeye has discussed on the dev update, because he believed it was reasonable and fair and is akin to purchasing an episode of a TV show on a streaming platform and doing so reduces the price of purchasing the season.
Due to this, every piece of content that can be individually purchased is primarily sourced to the first sourcebook it is published in - this is where it can be purchased and the sourcebook it contributes towards the purchase of.
Purchasing the whole of Tasha's will 100% grant you the ability to use the spells that were re-printed in it however.
IN the orgin manager when you try to swap a+2 stat boost it does not regester the +2 swap to a stat at all I have tried on a mountain dwarf and and bugbear both and the stats did not swap at all ((.
I am not able to reproduce this - please can you provide a link to your character sheet?
When the Eldritch Claw Tattoo is equipped and attuned, the bonus action "Eldritch Maul" does not appear under the bonus actions tab for the character.
We really want to implement an "action system" for magic items, to allow magic items to add actions to the character sheet in the way you have described. Personally, I think this will be really valuable and will allow us to much better support the large variation of magic items in the game. It is on the development stack, but as always, we're unable to give dates or promises, as priorities can, and do, change.

Nope. I've discussed this elsewhere, but when we were working on Tasha's and looking at which features we would be able to support for release day, part of the prioritisation was around, "Is there a way for people to do this anyway, using our existing tools?" - to be clear, we ARE planning a solution to allow much easier Custom Lineage. Where we are at right now, that system looks like you will select "Custom Lineage" as your race, then select the options you want from the dropdowns on the race page of the character builder. 😊
Public Mod Note(Stormknight): Thanks, it's truly appreciated. We're all big fans of the D&D game ourselves, so want D&D Beyond to be the best it can be!
I just want to give a shoutout to the whole D&D Beyond team! I know that a lot of this stuff you've been working on for some time and some of it you knew nothing about until a couple weeks prior to release. Y'all are doing a great job making updates and fixes and keeping the whole community in the loop!
Keep up all the good work and thank you for everything you all do for us! My

Is eldritch adept supposed to not have a selection? How are we to add said invocations to our sheets?
See the very first post of this thread: currently there's not a way to add invocations through the feat without breaking the sheet. It's on the list to fix.
Just a note - similar to the other issues around this topic, customizing a minotaur allows you to replace Imposing Presence with 2 skills instead of having to choose 1 from the options it gives you.
Obvious workaround for the time being is to just select 1.

(Stormknight):
Thanks for reporting this! I have updated the Minotaur to resolve this.
Has anybody else had trouble with the Fey/Shadow Touched spells not adding the +1 modifier?
Please make sure you select the relevant feat (with the ability score in the name). Also note that they can't increase the ability score over 20, as per the rules
Hello! You guys have done great work with this but I just found a bug.
Peace domain clerics do not seem to have all their automatically prepared spells prepared, specifically aura of purity. Others appear as normal but the auto does not.
Thank you!
@stormknight Yes except I own that book and that spell and it’s still not preparing. It appears, I can even prepare it manually, but it takes up a prepared a lot when it should be a domain spell.
edit: I just double checked and the spell doesn’t even list peace domain as a source. Just paladins, battlesmith, and oath of the watchers.

Oh wow, sorry - double oops from me there. I misclicked a checkbox when building that subclass (now fixed) and misunderstood what you were reporting previously. 😫
I just double checked the subclass feature and the spells list and have added aura of purity to the domain spells for the Order of Peace subclass.
Is there a plan to support All-Purpose Tool's cantrip? It allows you to learn a Cantrip once a day for 8 hours, but there is no way to add this extra cantrip to your character other than a custom action it seems.
Something similar to the Feats that let you learn cantrips would see appropriate.
You mention scaling stat blocks, but this is not a new feature! Rangers have had this for their animal companions since the beginning..
Scaling Statblocks: Several of the new features and spells present Monster Statblocks which scale with your character. This includes spells that summon other creatures. The system to handle these creatures is still under development but we have included inline stat blocks wherever possible to help you reference the stats you need.
Rangers have always added their proficiency bonus to some stats, so if you make it work for these new stat blocks will you also make it work for the Beastmasters original ability?
When will the expanded spell lists from TCoE be made available for the classes they're being added to? I bought the legendary bundle last year so I have XGte and the PHB but the spells listed as being added to the Cleric class in TCoE (i.e. Aura of Vitality, Aura of life, etc.) aren't showing up as Cleric spells for me when I'm picking my prepared spells.

I just quickly made a cleric to check, and they do show up for me. You probably haven't enabled the optional feature.
Sorry, yes the only new spells are summon spells. But they added to the availability of spells to druids, enlarge/cone of cold. Those are not populating in my list.

For Druid, Revivify should be listed as 3rd level spell but it isn't showing up.

When is the Aberrant and Clockwork problem with switching bonus spells estimated to be fixed?
