So I quit my job and decided to turn D&D into a career. I spent all last month teaching myself how to use final cut pro and creating videos for youtube, and well, I've made 10 videos so far but the problem is I don't know how to let other people know about my channel without sounding like "that guy that drops his channel link in all the places".... seriously I haven't posted my link anywhere yet because I just don't know how to go about doing that....
but Mr. Walrus I do have to mention that I am still in the same predicament where I don't know how to inform people about this forum/my channel without shamelessly inserting myself into other individuals more established feeds or by butting into other peoples online conversations.... if I may ask your opinion on the matter, how would you go about this predicament if you were in my position?
I would first put a link to your channel or stream in your signature. That means that everyone who sees your posts sees that you have a stream. Secondly, I'd go by word of mouth advertising. If you see someone looking for a D&D stream to watch, suggest your own. Tell them that if they enjoyed it, they should tell their friends and gaming buddies. If you tell them that you are doing D&D for a career and the videos will be at least semi professionally done, I wouldn't be surprised if they tell their friends.

A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots.
If you want good examples of video's with great content look at Seth Skorkowsky channel, or Questing Beast or DM's lair. All on utub and all offer detailed reviews of products or great D&D/ RPG advise.
I too shall share my link! I'm a noob dm for 2 different groups. One group is for my 8 year old son, and the other group is for a group of Army Vets that I volunteered to DM for. My channel documents my journey as a noob d&d dad and dm. Here's the link to my channel!
Brand new DND Channel just went live today and our first official teaser video. Come check us out and don't forget to like and subscribe. It really helps the channel out.

You could post the link to it in this very forum. It mainly exists to advertise and discuss streams.
