Could you make this then :a plasmoid artificer who is green ,and very rich and a tad buff but not like unrealistically buff and pick the subclass for me and just make sure he’s really fancy and if possible use kitbsdhing and I don’t have a name yet other then plasmodius
Actually don’t do my plasmoid suggestion until you do your spin on my warforged also can we see your characters you’ve made for yourself ?also do you have any ideas on making our heroic charchter models into evil versions of themselves
ive got an idea how would you like to guess what my orignal model looked like and try to make it like that and heres all ill tell you it uses newer heroforge pecies and the plague doctor mask and one of the pirate hats and he looks formal!

No thanks! I appreciate the offer. It doesn't sound like you need me to make you a character and I'm not looking to play a game with the time it takes to build one for it to not be needed or really wanted. I don't have the time to spend 1-3 hours building a character to "guess what your original model looked like and try to make it like that."
Happy to build a character (I've done it in here a bunch). But, I'd rather build something that gets used in a game.
You've asked for me to show examples of what I've made. The very first post in April of 2025 included a handful of those. Additionally, almost every character I've made for someone was sent to them in this thread (other than a small handful that were requested in direct messages).
Two version with pretty mild variations. Let me know which you prefer and what things you like about either. Also, let me know which aspects you'd like to be a little different. These have fairly minimal customization for now. Coloration isn't finalized and the features can change. We can pick and chose which elements are kept and still have some ability to remain fluid to make changes to just about anything.
That is more of an action shot. Crouched pose with a hand reaching down to grab another bolt.
The coloration here is subdued. Mostly natural looking leathers, metals, and wood colors.
Some mild facial hair was added, and technically there is a very light bit of freckling to make the skin tone look a little more realistic (still a little too subtle).
The cloak has runes on it to tie into your subclass theme.
There is a single point you can bring the camera to and see exactly where both the eyes and crossbow are aiming for screenshots.
This version has different hair and no facial hair.
This version also has some mild facial structure customization for a more heroic appearance.
It's common that people fawn over black and red as a color scheme. So, this is using that for hte leathers in the gloves and boots.
Coloration was adjusted slightly on the chainmail to make the bit around the shoulders and legs have more blue in the color and do darken the chainmail on the torso and skirt.
The cloak is different and there's a more fantastical color in the different set of runes.
Some potions were added to the belt
How you added runes to the cape?
Runes are added with decals. There are a ton of fun things you can do with those and they can really make things look less plain. Decals are a really good thing to explore! Decals add a lot to faces. They can add interesting things to shields and capes and clothing. They can also be used to add environmental effects. Look carefully when you examine these. Often with things like clothing there are different sections of the same item that can be given different or the same pattern. And, it's possible to layer decals in some instances.
Here are a handful of decal uses: This is a (barbarian) clown with a lot of layers of face make up, and a large scar on the head. There are also bruises on the knuckles and blood covering his weapon. https://www.heroforge.com/load_config=52538666/
The decals can be pretty subtle. This is an aberrant sorcerer with decals around the eyes to add shadow, and also a decal on the head to look like a fade around his hair. https://www.heroforge.com/load_config=58859805/
Decals can also be used in a lot of ways. This has a splatter decal used to show snow on the boots and legs. This also has scars on the arms and back. Scaring across the face. Sunspots across the back and head. And, I always use a decal around the eyes to add depth. https://www.heroforge.com/load_config=15435294/
Sure! A lot of this is subjective. Some of it ... less so. So, you can definitely take every single thing with a grain of salt. I'm not sure where you're at on your journey.
if you're just starting out: * always customize the position of the arms, neck, head, and eyes. It doesn't take long before you understand what these look like unmodified and it just looks lazy. * never leave default hands * you can 100% lean on the default color themes to color the entire figure for you and then make adjustments by hand if you want to. These can be great learning tools. Look at how these will use groups of colors. * you can do searches online with various aids to get help on how to pick colors that work well with one another. colors can be selected with rgb values, or hex codes. * everyone starting out leans heavily on red and black as a color scheme. Use it sparingly and know that you're falling into a cliche when you do it.
If you're more experienced: Get used to customizing colors. It will take some time and experimentation. Adjust the low, medium and high layers of color and get used to using that to add complexity to the colors you pick. Also, get familiar with how to modify how shiny things are with roughness and fuzz. This can do a lot to make something look like a different substance or give a thing a different feel. There are a handful that are a great place to start ... cloth "auburn concern" is an outstanding usage of different colors and different depths to show complexity.
A lot of the default colors will look wet and plastic. Hair is a really solid example. Default hair colors always look pretty bad. A fun exercise is to start with one substance, and try to make it look like another. So, start with cloth and make it look like leather. Start with wood and make it look like a gem. Doing this will get you more used to the essence of a given material which can make it easier to make cloth ... look like it was woven with plant fibers or metallic cloth or whatever.
Go out of your way to spend time experimenting with things. Make models that look bad as a part of the learning process. Experiment with layers of colors and decals. Take a thing you made months or years ago and come back to it to refine it with new things you've learned. When you do this, don't modify the original. Leave that like an old save file. You can take that and save it as a new name and modify it form there (so you can see the old version and the new) or you can just start over.
Spend a lot of time with the custom face and body options. A fun way to experiment is to pick a real person and try to make a character look like them. This can help you get more comfortable making a character with different kinds of racial features.
Spend a lot of time with custom poses. There's more bang for your buck moving some things around than some others. Messing with a tail or hair or a cape often won't get you very far and there will often be 20-30 slider options to move things around. Making sure you know how to pose a character to show movement will go a long way. Focus on the torso, head, neck, and eyes. This will go really far in making a character look more lifelike. A great exercise is to make custom poses with two handed weapons. It can take a lot of practice to make these work out. Using a staff with the hands wide apart is a lot easier than with something like a greatsword. So, start with two handed grips on a staff or polearm. Something like a hammer or axe is a bit harder. And a greatsword with the hands close together is hardest.
Pick a character from a game or show and try to make them. Heroforge is pretty great! But, it's also fairly limited. So, trying to take a scene from a movie or show and make that character can be interresting.
There was someone in the thread who wanted to play a game with making figures. You could send them a direct message and talk to them about doing exercises to both make the same character. I've done modified versions of this where someone will post their heroforge character and when I had time for it I would take that figure and make adjustments to it until I thought it looked better (mostly focused on refining the pose and colors).
As with anything ... think critically about what you do and what you see. It'll go a long way.
Would you like any help with any of what you've got going on in there?
Looks like you spent a lot of time on it and like it's very important to you. Your passion for the character shines through, which is awesome.
Not sure if this is the right thread to talk about creative writing (that feels like thread highjacking). But, I imagine there is a spot on the forums for that.
how did you just guess the build my entire partys doing in my new campgain well exept the psion but that players using a wizard subclass inspired by the psion
