Disclaimer: Outside of a certain surrogate character, this document in no way makes grung a legal, playable race in the D&D Adventurers League, or any other campaign where the Dungeon Master hates amphibians with an excess of apostrophes in their names… and yes if you’re not immune to poison and you must touch the grung to heal it… you get to make a saving throw.
You can also look in the AL Players guide which lists the valid sources usable for the creation of AL characters. One Grung Above is not one of those sources.
why not?, there should be grungs allowed. It's just common sense.
Because at first level
Poison Immunity. You’re immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Poisonous Skin. Any creature that grapples you or otherwise comes into direct contact with your skin must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute.
Which will lead to cheesy tactics. Grung, "The Dragon claw/claw/bite me DM. Make Smaug do 3 checks."
And the player will totally forget
Water Dependency. If you fail to immerse yourself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, you suffer one level of exhaustion at the end of that day.
Grung, "But I small DM. 2 waterskins should count as immersed for 1 hour".

Seeing as grung average 2-3 feet tall, those would have to be some unreasonably large waterskins for even a size medium creature to carry much less size small.

The water dependency isn't a good argument...its less restrictive than locathah, which are allowed. Its just the poison

No, warlocks do not need more spell slots, put them back how they were. if you want more spell slots, play a sorcerer
Don't make every stat block from a class (find steed, pact familiar), custom, wotc. Just give us a choice between 4-6 creatures and give them a buff.
