Hi I'm a university student and dnd is very much one of my happy places. I recently left a toxic friend group here after I couldn't handle the drama anymore. They where the only group I regularly played dnd with and I'm wanting to ask fellow DMs here how you found a online dnd group because I really want to play some serious fun dnd being a DM but everyone here besides maybe a few close friends don't really like contributing to the story. Hopefully people here can point me in the right direction.

Dnd Beyond has a looking for group forum under General Forums. You can look at the different groups that are looking for players and reply those you think will work best for you. Alternatively, you can create your own thread asking for a group/players. Make sure to mention your timezone and when you'd be available.

Of the three online groups I run, they were all found on D&D Beyond's forums. Use the looking for player section.
