It's a ritual that prevents souls from moving onwards after death (over an entire world), meaning everyone who dies becomes undead. I know the various hoops the bad guys will have to go through to perform the ritual (and thus ways the PCs can stop it)... but it needs a good impressive-sounding name.
reading only the subject line, hmmm a 'good' name for a bad thing: Elysium Flood? Thalasian Reversal? "Avalon? No, Lava"?
but really though, how interesting might it be for only the good souls to be turned back, perhaps pushed back? fantasy Noah and the 'flood' of formerly-good-aligned mindless zombies. i mean, if you're you cutting all souls off from their ultimate end then you're just asking to piss off the devils who will still desire their due. then you've got heaven and hell against your bbeg. which, i admit, could also be fun but reflects poor planing and audacious hubris on the part of the bbeg.

Maybe something like the Closing of the Gate? Or... does your setting have some kind of established psychopomp or passage to the underworld? Like, if it were something like Greek mythology's Charon, it could be the Sinking of the Ferry or something like that.
There are a couple of strategies for coming up with names. Firstly if you want something to sound mystical it can help to use a dead or priestly language like latin. Secondly there are a few different naming conventions that have been used for old texts. One is to use the first line so for example if you are going to have a chant that is used in the ritual you could just use that chant as the name. Another is to name drop the author to give it more authority so you can pick an important figure associated with undeath like vecna or orcus . The final one is title it based on what it does and just put in a priestly language.
Some examples
chant: wither and die, Marcescet et mori ( latin)
The pslam of orcus or the requiem of orcus
The call of the silent march or voce taciti itineris ( latin)

"Death denied" in Latin is "Mors Negavit"
Since it's a ritual, it may be more fun to have a longer name for cool points.
"The end of death and extension of all life" aka "Finis mortis et extensio omnis vitae"
I like using Google Translate and latin for magic stuff :)
Spirit Ostracization?
The Death Curse and the Soulmonger from ToA come to mind
I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

Medium humanoid (human), lawful neutral
The Soul Lock easy to say,
"We must stop the soul lock from happening."
I would either go with:
The Grand Necromantic Ritual of Freedom.
Genesis
Or I would think of something funny like "Do NOT Do This, I MEAN IT!"
The Rapture?
