Hopefully, this is just me being autistic, but while in the Cragmaw Hideout, when you reach where Silder is, kill all the goblins and search Yeemik, it says what he has on him as well as this "Sildar’s gear, along with Gundren Rockseeker, was taken to Cragmaw Castle." Does this mean Yeemik has both Silder and Gundren's gear as well as a note saying that Gundren has been taken to the castle? I'm sure this is very clear for other people but for me it's confusing, and I want to understand it before tomorrow since this is where my party will be continuing from.

One time I rolled a crit one, five times in a row.
From what I can tell, this is saying that Sildar’s gear is in Cragmaw Castle, along with Gundren himself. I’ve not DM’d LMoP before (jumped feet first into PotA instead) so feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but that would be my interpretation considering that “He (Sildar) doesn’t have any weapons or armor” and “Klarg sent the map and the dwarf to the chief of the Cragmaws at a place called Cragmaw Castle”.
The information relays that both the gear AND Gundren have been taken to Cragmaw Castle, which is where the party is supposed to want to go next. FYI, your next task that isn't well laid-out is that the party is supposed to deal with the Redbrands in Phandalin before charging off to the castle suggested in the letter.
If they don't they can always get into some other shenanigans like running into a small event in the forest that requires them to rescue a townsfolk and bring them back to town, or make them aware that the stolen goods in the cave have markings related to the town, Sildar would probably recognize the symbol since he was on his way to this town.

"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."

You are correct. That sentence should never have made it past the first draft, but that's what it means.

Thank you, glad it's not just me who has an issue with it.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
Hopefully they go to the town to find out where Cragmaw Castle is =)
