I need some good monsters, for a campaign that is set in a very cold environment. I need some good monsters for 1 - 2 level players to fight? Thanks! :D
You can search the official monsters on this sight and set the filters to the environment and CR you are looking for. For L1-2 players you'll want to stick to nothing higher than a CR of 3-4 for deadly encounters and lower than that for other types.
I know that this is years after but as this is one of the top recommendations for a dnd beyond article I wanted to add my personal recommendation of a snow demon that will periodically form out of the snow and try to suffocate straying characters. The only way to stop it is to stab its centre where a crystal rests effectively its soul.

Pick a thing, add resistance to cold, give it a cool description, add 1d4 cold damage to it's bite, if applicable. You can make anything work, if you want one!

Pretty much. For example I really like stone cursed and you can really easily make their petrification into freezing, change their vulnerability to fire and make some of the damage cold .
I find constructs and undead make this conversion very easily as there's an expectation that undead reflect the way they died and constructs their materials.

My Homebrew Backgrounds | Feats | Magic Items | Monsters | Races | Subclasses
I'm also looking for some cool wintery Homebrew.
Here's a few that could be interesting:
Obviously, there are a lot more, but those are some straight-forward choices, imo.
By the way, the poll at the top of the thread is a little confusing.
You can apply the same filters to the homebrew monster search to sort by environment and CR.

Yeah the poll is a bit confusing, It's about what your favorite campaign setting is.
Instead of just looking what the monster manual suggest is in arctic environment, why not take the monsters you want to use and modify them..
Like a clan of "Albino Frost Goblin" Or "Winter Gnolls"
