I'm making this thread because I have seen that it should be possible to have multiple items as a set the provide further bonuses but I don't understand how to do this myself. I have even tried making a copy of the Eye of Vecna, Hand of Vecna, and the Eye and Hand of Vecna items, but still, don't see a way to connect two or more items together to make a set. If anyone has an idea on how to do this please let me know I'm at a loss.
Also, I'm sorry if this had been answered somewhere before but I couldn't find that thread. Please just point me to it if one does exist.
if you equip the "eye of Vecna" and the "hand of Vecna" it increases your strength score to 20. so i would have to disagree they are somehow connected to do that and if not I would still like to figure out how to do similar effects.

^This is not a valid argument to say they are connected. Attuning the Hand is the source of the strength score increase to 20. As IamSposta said, they are programmed as three completely separate items. The Eye is programmed to give you its properties when attuned. The Hand is programmed to give its properties when attuned. Both are completely independent of each other. And attuning both does not actually grant the properties of having both as listed under the Eye and Hand of Vecna, you have to add the Eye and Hand of Vecna separately. (In order to get the full effects you have to have all three items equipped, and the Eye (singular) and Hand (singular) attuned.) So if you want to do the same thing, then you would have to make each item of the set individually, then have a separate item that has just the properties of what happens when you have the combined set.
Alright, that was my fault I ended up confusing the strength increase with both equipped and not the hand itself. Also thank you for explaining how to do all three as that was the entire point of making this thread is I just read the Design workshop magic item and it mentioned that two of the items were made as a set and it didn't explain how to do that or at least I didn't find anything that clarifies how to do it.

You cannot connect them, those are programmed as three completely separate items.

The easiest way to learn how something was programmed is to make a homebrewing using that something as a template so you can dissect it.

I Tried that but because the design workshop said a set I tried looking for some kind of option that would allow that
