There currently is no feature to create homebrew classes. There are no plans to create homebrew class creation. I would not be surprised if in the next month we see homebrew subclasses, but I understand if that is not enough.

The stance that the staff has taken is that classes require a high level of complexity and a lot of man hours that they would rather spend on getting other features completed. I'm not familiar with pathfinder but I bet you'll find a lot of flavor similarities between the two, if not, there are always subclasses.

dman.... I was hoping to use this for a Pugmire campaign but until Classes are homebrew-able I can't... come on D&D Beyond be a pal and add this functionality pretty please!
Anyway to create home-brew Classes or is such a feature going to be added later?

A friend of mine wanted to port over Pathfinder. I don't really see a reason not to make Homebrew classes when everything else has a homebrew section.

Yeah, however pathfinder has triple if not more classes and combination classes. I'm probably just going to see about doing it with magic items.

Pugmire, with how they use advancement, would be tricky in the first place. Every level is basically "pick a feat" or "advance a magic item."
I agree Custom classes would be an excellent addition.
