I'd also like more people to come forward with ideas on subclasses you fell I could/should develop! Right now I am trying to come up with interesting concepts for the Fighter, Barbarian, Cleric, Paladin and Wizard \o/

I know there's a School of Necromancy, but I've always wanted to see a Wizard who practices necromantic arts with something more akin to the Beast Master Ranger. I kind of feel as though it may be too robust to simply be a subclass, though, in order to get all the options most people would be looking for.
A "Painter's School" subclass would be cool for either Bard or Wizard (like the magic focus is a paint brush). There could be some cool flavor behind painting arcane sigils in the air. It could be a focus on creation and/or illusion magics, maybe a hint of summoning if you paint the thing into existence?
I'd also be interested in seeing a Paladin or Wizard with some focus on Blood Magic. I know Matt Mercer put out his Blood Cleric in the campaign guide, so I wouldn't ask for that to be redone.
Edit:The more I thought on it, the more I think Blood Magic fits Sorcerer better than Wizard. Although a complete line of Blood-focused casters would be super cool! It would really help make something for like a cult campaign, that would be neat.

I could actually "continue" on the line of my Dusk Warrior and reuse a similar mechanic for casters and mixed classes (I am thinking Sorceror, Wizard and Paladin could be fitting for this)
I also like the Brush School, I'll think on that as well. Thank you! :)

I'm pretty interested in seeing how they all turn out. A line of blood-themed characters would make for that super cool campaign, like I said. But now I'm also thinking about an actual blood cult which may have PC-built baddies in a future campaign arc I'm mulling over in my head now.

I'll do my best to make one for most classes :) But I warn you right now that there most probably won't be one for the Rogue (rogues should avoid "wasting blood" around as much as possible, in my head). Alternatively, I think the Souldthief subclass could still fit in the cult ;)

Something akin to the flavor in the Shadow Sorcerer would make for a cool addition, just brighten it up with a little red instead of grey ... to keep with my earlier painting theme, lol. I look forward to seeing what you and beautiful mind of yours come up with!

You mean for the Rogue or some other class? 'Cause if you meant for the rogue, there would be the Shadow Mind subclass I did which would qualify, I think. The red for a Rogue always comes from the blood of their enemies ;P

Had a cool conversation with a friend over the weekend that made me think of a neat idea for a subclass. The idea is that, as a healer, you absorb or transfer some of the damage that other characters take. So maybe you're out of spells, or need them to deal some damage, and you use a feature which transitions some of the damage off your ally. Either as part of a focus feature, or something similar.
As a Cleric I could see this being a focus feature, part of the Channel Divinity probably. This would be useful if you're a dedicated healer who is out of spells, or if you're a fighting cleric who needs to deal some damage.
As a Paladin I could see this being the aura feature. Paladin's get so few spells, comparatively, but already have Lay on Hands. Hopefully as a Paladin the AC is high enough that they're not taking too many hits in melee if they're playing front-line support.
Thoughts?
Edit: One additional thing, it would kind of be built around the idea of Life Transference. Maybe without the necrotic damage, or so much of it ... unsure.

Just to add onto this, a friend of mine noted that a Life Oracle had something like this in Pathfinder:
Life Link (Su): As a standard action, you may create a bond between yourself and another creature. Each round at the start of your turn, if the bonded creature is wounded for 5 or more hit points below its maximum hit points, it heals 5 hit points and you take 5 hit points of damage. You may have one bond active per oracle level. This bond continues until the bonded creature dies, you die, the distance between you and the other creature exceeds medium range, or you end it as an immediate action (if you have multiple bonds active, you may end as many as you want as part of the same immediate action).
It just came to my attention, as I was rolling through Paladin Oath's, that the Oath of Redemption has this in their aura already. This kind of narrow's it down to Cleric, which I went ahead and took a stab at. I wont link it here in your thread, but I'm calling it the Domain of Sacrifice. I would be interested in your take on the class, as well as your thoughts on my take on it if you're willing.
Way of the Closed Fist and Way of the Long Arm are already in the moderation queue. I am having a bit of trouble with the Way of the Blade due to how Disciplined Blade works, and generally there doesn't seem to be an option to make a feature with limited uses equal to an Ability Mod, so that's something else I am trying to see how to do with, but it's the lesser problem ;)
little by little they will all find their way to the queue, then it's just a matter of how fast the Mods (the Gods bless them) get to them for approval :P

I believe that the homebrew subclass revamp will make it so that you can link a limited use feature to an ability modifier.

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.

I decide to believe so as well :3
If they could also add the possibility of adding Fighting Styles, that'd be great (just found out you cannot when going to do the Path of the Maelstrom Barbarian subclass XD).

It is kind of nice to see that the moderation isn't just instant. Really lends to the idea that they're taking some time to make sure it isn't someone else's actual published work.
I also like the comments, it will help getting more feedback from people who aren't on the forums. Hopefully they offer constructive feedback, lol.

so lek, how long until you have these added to the Homebrew subclass section? ;)
Working on it ;)
