Hello all! I'm a DM whose party is about to face my first completely homebrewed Big Bad. Long story short: he's a wizard who has become obsessed with an elemental vortex to the Plane of Fire. One of the players is the wizard's clone, created by the wizard as a vessel to eventually take over to extend his life. The party will confront him deep inside Mt. Hotenow, at the elemental vortex. He's defended by two fire elementals and two flame atronachs, although they're all enslaved and the party can free them by breaking their slave collars.
Any feedback on the stat block? The party is five 8th-level characters (druid, sorcerer, monk, ranger, and thief), who have several more magic items than the DMG suggests. While at 7th level, they defeated a dullahan/revenant/deathlock trio AND a fire giant/fomorian pair in a single day, so they can handle overleveled encounters -- but I have no idea if I've tuned this right. Would love your thoughts!

This is way to hard, using the encounter builder this is closer to the daily XP max for your party, then to the deadly encounter level for them.
I'de really reccomend scaling it down by a lot.
BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!
He/him pronouns. Call me Bard. PROUD NERD!
