Does anyone know if there are any plans to add the ability to homebrew an archetype for existing classes, or new classes as a whole? I’m in the process of making a homebrew archetype for the fighter class, but I’d like to be able to have it handy on D&D Beyond when I play.

Classes aren't planned as in they are confirmed not going to be implemented, or they just haven't said anything about them yet? I think it would be a huuuge oversight to not include class homebrews... Especially since we already have a 3rd party class (Blood Hunter)
The staff has said a lot about homebrew classes and it has been the exact opposite of confirmation. The staff is hesitant to say that they know what all homebrew classes will look like. They don't want to limit our ability to create new mechanics, but they can't account for those mechanics as they have no idea what those mechanics might look like. To them, making a homebrew class system that doesn't allow for the creativity of the community is worse than not having one at all. In short, don't hold your breath; the soonest I can see them coming out with a homebrew class system is this time next year and that's an optimistic outlook.
To your question about third party content, this is very much on a case by case basis.
Someone may want to correct my language about the matter, I paraphrased heavily.

Does someone know how long it takes to get approval for your homebrew subclasses. I tried to publish 2 and it's been almost 2 weeks without any backfeed. I published items in the past and it didn't take more than 4 to 5 days to get approval.
I believe the moderators said that approval takes about two weeks. Every submission has to be hand reviewed and there's a very, very long list of submissions.

You already can make homebrew subclasses! Homebrew classes are not planned.

As soon as I posted this question, I saw that homebrew archetypes were available! Thank you, though!
