Is there any way to add to a character's proficiency list? We're doing a homebrew crafting system in our campaign that involves the possibility of picking up proficiency in crafting tools after X amount of use, is there any way to do that as DDB stands right now? I created a feat where players can choose one tool proficiency thinking that may be a work around, but it seems they can choose feats at their normal ASI levels only, and then only one feat, with no way to take "extra" feats.
Probably the best way would be use DDB to create a race, using their current race as the template and add the given proficiency to that custom race, then edit the character to change their race to the custom one. Not exactly the most elegant solution, but should get the job done.
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett

Thanks in advance!

You can also create a homebrew magic item and that's much less hassle.
