The solution is to create a new version and then publish that. It will update the one in the listings but those who have already added it to their collections will have to add the new version.

So you are in My Creations, you have searched for the homebrew, you see the published one, you've clicked on "Create New Version", and you don't see a private version of it?

I goto the published one: Olerath Dragonborn in My Homebrew Creations. There I select it, and click a hyperlink called "Create New Version" I answer a popup with the title, "Create new Version" and the Text: "Are you sure you want to create a new version of this homebrew subrace?" by pressing the button "Create" there is a Progress bar, a flash, and I am returned to "My Homebrew Creations" There is no additional items in my list, and nothing that resembles the original item but is now not published... Nothing to click edit, nothing to publish again after i fix it...
(i have done this now about 7 times so far as i have tried to understand what i am suppose to do)

I have a simple typo i need to fix, but i can not see anyway to edit my published content
I've wondered about this too, but I think the solution is creating a new version.
Recently returned to D&D after 20+ years.
Unapologetic.

Go to your creations, find the version that is not published, there should be an edit button.
